I am on a lower estrogen birth control, so my periods are lighter than when I was not on birth control.  I have a had a regular period every month on the birth control up until 2 months ago, and I haven't had a period since.  I've taken home pregnancy tests, and they've all turned up negative, but I am finding myself experiencing pregnancy symptoms this whole time.  I am wondering if I should go in to the doctor for a blood test or if I should risk waiting until my next missed period to try a home test again.

Hi Questions,

While it is unlikely that you are pregnant if you are taking your birth control as directed, it can happen.

See your doctor.

Not all women respond to the home pregnancy - urine - tests.

Good luck.
