I've just got back into running and within the last month have incorporated cycling into my workout routine. I had an ACL replacement and use the cycling to keep my knee moving without out the added weight. Recently I find that my quads seem to be numb/tingling and I think it's because they're getting a hard workout. Should I let up on the added cycling or is this a good thing? :?

Numb and tingly while you run or when you get done running or when you're on the bike?

They're usually tingly after biking. When I bike to work, I'm going fast, but in lower gears (doing lots of rmps) and mostly up hill.

I wouldn't worry about it then.

I'm a bike commuter too and sometimes my legs are just dead in the mornings. The afternoon ride home is usually easier.
