I got librax promotional material at my pharmacist’s. I have peptic ulcer and use my therapy for its treatment. I saw in the leaflet that librax has some different ingredients than my medications. I mean, it’s not an antihistamine. I need more information about librax.

Librax contain chlordiazepoxide which is benzodiazepine, and clidinium, an antispasmodic drug. It is used in treatment of peptic ulcer and irritable bowel syndrome. It has sedative effects and it is recommended to avoid driving and engaging in other tasks that require mental alert while taking librax. It is better to use it at bedtime. It is very important that librax can be habit forming and there is risk of withdrawal symptoms if stopped taking suddenly. Your doctor will direct you how to use librax, so you should visit him if you want to change therapy you use now.
