I went yesterday and had a consultation. I am excited about having it done but also very scared. You hear so much about plastic surgery and problems that can happen or come about, I would like to hear from as many as possible that had this procedure done to advise whether you may have had any complications from the surgery. I also have a very low tolerance to pain so would like to also know how painful this may be. I thought the cost was a little steep around $5,000.00 for surgery that takes between 30 and 60 minutes

I believe they said 7-10 yrs. with good care, staying out of the sun, staying away from sugar and the normal stuff we hear. I would also utilize myotonology (facial stimuation to impove elastin and collagen) and perhaps facial accupressure, which you can learn more about online if you google those topics.

My lifestyle lift was done in Tampa by Dr. Swerdloff in January. I think I look great. No complaints whatsoever, especially since I knew what to expect, as he gave me an entire sheet of things to review and look for before and after my surgery. It wasn't a spa treatment or anything like that but was not too bad after the first couple days. I don't know why anyone would be too old to do it. It's a lot safer under the local anesthesia than with the general like a full facelift, then I can understand the age thing. I'd say go in and talk to the consultant and doctor and see what they say, don't just listen to friends or family that really have no idea, not to mention any medical training. I love my new old face!

Be very grateful you did not have it done.It is a total scam. I was told it would last 5-10 years, it was more like 5-10 weeks. They cut half my ear lobe off & sewed it to a point.It is very painful & once you give them your $4000 check they want nothing 2 do with u & are on 2 the next sucker.

I don't advice getting a lifestyle lift. I was left horribly scarred on one side of my face. The advertisement is completely misleading, recovering takes weeks if not months and your face might get reshaped like my did for the worst. Six months after my surgery I'm still puffy on one side and I'm afraid it might be permanent.
I implore you not to do this procedure if you're barely in your forties unless you can live with gruesome visible scars and barely any change to your original problem!

My results are just what I had hoped for. My ps removed my turkey neck, smoothed out my frown lines, and did some lipo around my eyes.
My results aren't so drastic that people are shocked to see me, but more like they think I've lost weight. Its very natural looking, like me several years in the past.
I recommend the lifestyle lift, and the best advice I could offer is that if you are really considering the lifestyle lift, you should go do the free consult, talk to the doctor, ask as many questions as you can, and from there you can consider if this procedure is right for you.

My LSL was a little over 2 years ago with Dr. Agliano in Tampa. I picked him because he is Board Certified and past president of the medical society. Sounded good.
Recovery time was weeks, not days, and with significant swelling. The novocaine injections weren't fun but tolerable. The shortened earlobes have stretched back to almost normal. Overall, the results looked good, definitely better now than before, with all of the excess skin gone.
But--- My cheeks, jawline, and neck still feel uncomfortably tight. I am very unhappy about the LSL procedure of tightening of the underlying tissues. If they would just remove the excess skin, I think the procedure would be a winner. Yes, you would have to have it done every few years, that's gravity. And I wouldn't hesitate, except I would rather be saggy than uncomfortable. There is no way I will ever have this procedure again.

This is completely false! 56 is no too old, but a great age. Complications? Any procedure may have complications, but the LSL seems to be much safer because they only use local anesthesia and not general. Most complication occur because of the use of general anesthesia.

I went for a consultation last Thursday. I haven't made up my mind to do it yet as I read a lot of negative things on line and it made me hesitate.
