My father is at hospital at the moment. He is supposed to come home for a weekend. Yesterday, when I was call doctor to ask about him, he told me that he has loss of peripheral vision. But the doctor did not tell me anything about his condition. Is my father blind?
No, your father is not blind. I have loss of peripheral vision myself. It is caused by some disorder in eye. The basic of this condition is that his vision is like he is watching throw a pipe. It is also called a "tubular vision". So he is able to see only in direction of his eyes, but not around. He will maybe remind you to a robot, because he will turn around in order to see. It can be funny to him and to you as well.
