Today i thought I inserted a tampon this morning before going to work the only problem is when I went to take it out there was not one there. I felt inside and found nothing but I remember putting one in. The other situation is IF I did not put one in I would have bled through on my panties because I was cramping severly today. It is normal with all women I am sure that when you cramp it is usually when you are heavy and this is day 2 for me. what should I do. I have examined my self and found nothing but I am still worried

Look, one thing is certain. It couldn’t have gotten anywhere. If you are sure you put it in and not taking it out, it must still be inside. It has no place to go because vagina ends with a cervix, which has an opening to the uterus but this opening is reserved only for blood and semen and nothing else can go through it.

Now, the only way to go is find a tampon, so that he doesn’t cause an infection because you could experience a toxic shock infection which is dangerous and it is also rare but it happens.

Besides this reaction, it is also possible to experience pelvic pain, or discharge and odor.

It happens often that women forget they put it in and it stays there for a long time. That is really bad.

Anyway, what you need to do is wash your hands ( to avoid letting bacteria in), cut your nails and sit on a toilet seat. Place your legs on a small stool and try to push like you are having bowel movements, this may help push the tampon out. If not, put your fingers all the way in and search for it. You wil certainly feel the cervix one you’ve reached an end. It is said that they stuck down there most of the time. Make round circles with your finger ins earch for it. When you find it, insert two fingers and try to get hold of it like you would do with scissors.

If you don’t find it, see a doc as soon as possible. It is not good to have it inside for that long, especially if it’s your day 2.

Let me know how it went!

You can make it worse (push it back further) if you try to retrieve it yourself! It happened to me. Just go to a doctor immediately to avoid infection and/or toxic shock. It's not uncommon for doctors to retrieve tampons from patients so it's nothing to be embarassed about. They do it properly with the right instruments - so just go to one right away.

That should be easy. Pull one out and if there is still one in there --- you did.
