Hi peoples,
I too have been suffering from that exact same thing, but does anyone else here get like gurgle/watery kinda noises with it ???
Doctor told me it was IBS (irritable bowel) and my bowel was having spasms.
IBS can't really be treated so doesn't help much really

I too experience some movement, but it seems it's always after I've had a
meal. I'm thinking it's related to the digestive system. I sometimes have
the gurgely sounds. Really weird. However, I don't think it's a parasite, but I'm going to talk w/ my doctor at my next appt. For those experiencing it more often, can't a doctor schedule a sonogram to see what's going on? If anyone finds out more info. please post the information here. Thanks,
Rosanna :-)

I have a weird crawling feeling on the far right side of my abdomen. Crawling and sometimes spasm type feeling. I am a small petite woman (35 with three children and my tubes tied) but my stomach is slightly protruded (not bad but looks to me like it is more so on the right side - where I feel the movement). I also have the spasm in my left lower back and left upper back. Weird!! However I am having some white watery (sometimes mucsy) vaginal discharge and cramping. Also fatigue. Also pains in my hips at times that sometimes gives way when I am walking. I have also been very moody lately.
If this does not get better I am going to call a doc next week...
any ideas anyone??

Hi everyone!
I've got a kid and I am definitely not pregnant. However,I had the same feelingfor the last two weeks. I even had a pregnancy test even though I knew I wasn't pregnant. I thought it might be a parasite, too and was so scared.
I went to seemy doctor today and he examinedme, found nothing, just a different sensation where he pressed on the abdomen where the movement occurs. Here is what he said:
"That is your gut moving. It happens toeverybody. Sometimes,if you are thin, which you are,you can actually see it."
He said it had a name and told it to me, which i forgot and that's how i found this website anyway, trying to find the name. He is a great doctor and I would trust my life with him.
Hope this helps...
Take care all...

Hello everyone,
Glad to know I am not the only one. For several months now I have experienced something moving in my stomach. I have four kids and my tubes are tied. I thought I was pregnant. Preg test-Neg. My husband has felt the movement inside me also. My stomach is often bloated, I have gained weight also. Have been under a physician's care for the entire experience. I have been diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. That answer isn't good enough because I know what gas feels like-this is not gas. I have had a colonopscopy, ultrasound, sometimes I have a clear white, slimy discharge-no odor at all. I feel awful when this thing is moving around, And i too hear growling and sounds as if it is moving through water. I think it could be a parasite. But my ultrasound came back -clear inside. I also had an ultrasonic vaginal exam- Nothing. My doctor thinks I am fine and put me on meds. I still have the symptoms. Please do not stop here. Continue to get yourself examined. My left shoulder started hurting where I could hardly pick it up. Later I found that tubular pregnancy has shoulder pains listed as one of the symptoms. My next step is to see my GYN. I will have him run the necessary tests. Then I am requesting that my family doctor refer me to a gastro specialist. Sometimes I feel as if this has gone on too long and I am afraid of poisoning my body. PRAY the blood of JESUS over yourselves and each other because we do not know what this is but if we all pray and believe in GOD for answers to our concerns, we will all recover from this. GOD SPEED!!!! : :-D

It's reassuring to know there are other people with similar problems as any friends I describe this to just frown and say 'strange'! I have a painless bubbly movement around my navel, often with a gurgly sound. Like I say, it doesn't hurt, but it unnerves me to have this movement. I am five months pregnant at the moment, but as this is my third child, I know that it is not the baby kicking.
The movements first became visible after I had my first child. I have spoken to my midwife and my doctor about it, and they have given me 'probable' diagnoses for it. The general suggestion is that it is a weakness of the stomach muscles, which means things that normally move around in the digestive system unnoticed, are allowed to relax to outside where the muscles normally keep them. After I had my second child, a year after my first, I was diagnosed with DSRAM - diastasis of the recti-abdominal muscles. Not as serious as it sounds, but I had to take it easy for the first six weeks, as my abdominal muscles had all but seperated.
This would make sense as the cause as many of the other replies on this page have been from mothers, possibly who have had the same problem. As I am pregnant at the moment I cannot do any stomach excercises, but I intend to after I have had the baby, hopefully this will strengthen my tummy and reduce these movements in the future. If anyone is going to try this course of action, be wary of overdoing the excercises, especially if you do have a weak abdomen, or are not used to excercising.
If you do have a weak stomach, please be very careful, as over-excercising can cause prolapse of weak muscles, an even worse problem. A googleing for 'gentle abdominal excercises' should yield some helpful results.
Please let me know if this has helped anyone, or if this starts to solve the problem. _[removed]_

I had the same feeling for a few weeks and it did feel like a baby kicking or rolling. I thought it was also a parasite. My sister just went to the doctor and found out that she has some form of worms but she is very private and doesn't like to discuss things and so I wasn't able to get too much info from her. When I went to my doctor for another issue, I mentioned the movement and he just dismissed me. It would be nice to know if anyone has had this who has been diagnosed with something.

I've had many of the same symptoms. I was diagnosed as having a fungal (C. glabrata) infection. This fungus is different from the usual fungus (C. albicans) that is behind typical vaginal yeast infections and is often resistent to the antifungal medications that are effective against C. albicans. Because of this resistance, I am having difficulty getting rid of the infection. I had to be very persistent to get the culture done. Maybe others have this fungal overgrowth too. It does require physicians to think outside the box.

I read the post about the movement in the stomache or lower abdomen. It feels like fish or something moving. It is several times a day. I had a hysterectomy and had everything removed, except my ovaries. This feeling is on my left side always, my kids saw it sounds like popcorn popping, and it feels like something turning. I am 40 something, not pregnant because I have parts missing, making that impossible, unless I am Mary. In the past when I had my papsmear done and the Dr. pushed on that spot, it is tender when pushed and sort of hurts. I feel pressure in that area. I also asked y DR. About it, and was told it was gas. IT IS NOT GAS. I know that feeling! Does anyone know of anybody who knows about this? I have also gained weight, and my stomache starting under my breasts grows as the day goes on, and by the end of the day, I feel like I am carrying a baby because of the distended stomache etc. I will contact Mayo CLinic and see if they know anything about this. Someone should know something. Oh, and according to my bloodwork, some of the levels are elevated and they don't know why? They thought I had a blood clot, but it that possible in the groin stomache area? Any suggestions or thoughts of what this is?
Thank you
Thank you

i guess I am releived to see I am not alone in this, I have had the same problem for about a year or maybe more. i know its not pregnancy. i have been to a GI doctor and they did and ultrasound and found absolutely nothing. That was about 8 months ago. There are no diagnosis for this. But it definitely feels alive.
