I have suffered from horrible pain with orgasm and also from erotic dreams and sometimes just erotic thoughts while awake. Previous a history was limited sexual partners without issue. Issues began after abstinece then masturbation only. On pain scale 1-10 my pain was 8. Lasted upwards of 15 min. Saw no point in being involved in a relationship as sex would be impossible. Ibuprofen helped a tiny bit as did anti gas meds taken prior to masturbation. Never had a child..never on the pill or other birth control. This went on for about 6 years. Went thru pretty early menopause (42yrs). I had resigned myself to this. Last week I had an erotic dream without pain. Over several days I had erotic awake thoughts no pain. For the last week I have been on a masturbation rampage...2 or 3 times a day without pain. Only changes in habits....I have been taking Krill oil for several weeks and also a supplement with probiitics fiber prebiotic match a tea Garcia Cambodia and glucomannan. Hope this stays away

I just feel like my life is over with my problem. I want to meet a man and have a normal sex life but pain is so horrible at orgasm that I just can't even think about meeting someone. The problem first started in 2012. I noticed that masurbation caused cramping, and it worsened. I was 42 and peri-menopausal at the time. I lost weight which seemed to help for about a month, but it's bad again. Even arousal starts the pain. It's a dull intense pain, on the right side primarily, and the cramping feels so awful that I almost threw up a couple of times. I don't bother with masturbation. I try not to think about sex at all; what's the point? But what's worse is that I can't stop having erotic dreams, and I'll wake up in agonizing pain. I had an MRI for a hip problem and it showed a 2.5 cm ovarian cyst on my left side, but the cramping is worse on the right. I don't know if the problem is ovarian cysts or if it has to do with hormone reduction after menopause. I thought about having a hysterectomy to get rid of the problem, but based on what I have read here, that may not even help. So lost, depressed and lonely.

Ok, so I have been sitting up to sleep during my danger zone nights to avoid the sleep orgasms followed by pain. (Danger zone=About 14 days up until my period starts).Been sleeping sitting up for a few months now. I haven't had an orgasm sitting up in my recliner until last night......I woke at 5 am to a vivid *stange* dream of me humping a corner of a table(What the heck?!!!) and immediately had an orgasm. I woke up and thought oh no, here we go. Usually the cramps start building right away....but last night I barely cramped AT ALL!! I even went in the shower & sat down waiting for the brutal pain to start, and it never did!! I felt just a slight cramping, but no big deal at all. It didn't even trigger my bowels either like it normally does. I did start sweating a bit but nothing like times in the past where I sweat so bad. I couldn't believe the pain didn't happen like it usually does. It was 95% easier than any other sleep orgasm I had in the past. So, I don't know why sitting up works, but it works for me and I will continue to do it when I am in the danger zone time of the month. (PS...I would never hump a table corner in real life, so weird I dreampt that.)

I know this is a year old but for the past 8 months I've had this really bad pain in my lower stomach and it was only during and after orgasms, sometimes the pain was so much I couldn't achieve the orgasm and stop. But did the realigning of your hip help? I had physical theraop a year ago because one hip sits lower than the other could that be the possible source?

I have been following this thread for a while as I have had this pain for 5 months now.. A sharp stab in lower left abdomen at orgasm. With slight soreness for ten minutes afterwards. I stopped taking my pill last month to see if it made any difference. And Viola ! no pain today ! It may just be a coincidence or it may have been the cause ! I have had all sorts of scans and everything normal. So for anyone suffering this I would recommend discussing the possibility of your pill causing it with your doctor.

I am 52 and have been experiencing the pain in my stomach during orgasm for about 6 months. Recently it was suggested I have my gallbladder checked. It can cause pain in the stomach, diarrhea, extreme bloating in the stomach, nausea and vomiting, just to name a few of the symptoms. I will be calling the doctor soon, possibly you could check out yours as well?

It could be a ovarian cyst. Despite that I have never had relations sexually I have had ovarian cyst that form and dissolve on their own after a period. If it continues to bother you, try self vaginal massage therapeutic techniques, it might be muscles, tendons, or joints connected with the pelvic floor area. Try a magnesium supplement. If it worsens try getting professional help, ovarian cancer and other conditions can develop. It wouldn't hurt it to be checked out.

Ive had this spasm in my left side right after an orgasm (not intercourse) if I dont keep my left leg bent & right leg flat. Im thinking it may be the "round ligament"
