Perhaps it is muscular, have you ever tired physical therapy or massage therapy? This may help if all tests are normal....part of my issues is muscular.

It is very likely muscular.  I've had this on and off for ages.  it is absolute agony sometimes especially when I go from a squatting position to standing up, but one visit to my remedial massage therapist and it goes for at least two weeks.  She puts me into a positio on my side and pushes me into a position, there is a cracking sound and immediately the pain is away. She then has to massage my outer and inner thigh and bottom of my back because when I "click out"  all the movement I do means that the muscles are getting pulled in the wrong position due to my hip being a little out of place.  But once she clicks me back in I am fine again.  Unfortunately I will often click out but I don't have any of the other symptoms of bowel problems or anything.  But I do sometimes twist the wrong way and that is what puts me out.  Hope this helps:)

Sounds like a bulging or herniated disc with the hip and leg pain or I would have said maybe a kidney stone.

I am having the same pain on the left side, down my leg,my lower back and sometimes it feels like the pain is in my butt. Mine happens like 3 to 4 times per month. I take pain tablets and it goes away. But the pain is really bad and I am with you guys, I really need to know what is the reason for this.

I have had a similar pain and I have now realised that it is being caused by walking incorrectly. I normally use orthotics in my shoes but for a while I didn't bother and I was having chronic pain. I thought I had a serious problem, probably in my bladder. Once I started using the orthotics again the pain disappeared within about 3 days and now it seems to have gone for good. Hope this helps. It's worth a try. Orthotics can be bought from a podiatrist who can adjust them to your foot.

Find a caring chiropractor that will send you to a neurosurgeon. Could definitely be a spine issue. Sounds a lot like sciatic nerve issues but it could be caused by spine problems. Bless your heart. It's miserable to not have an understanding care giver.

I am right along with you. 5 discs 3 bulging and 2 protruding , stenosis, DDD, arthritis and I am 40. This pain has been running my life for 2 years. Injections are past 20 now - they are a band-aid at best. Pain medication is my only saving grace and I am tired of being on them. I am scheduled for a discogram and this is known to be not 100% accurate and extremely painful, and not sure if I would even be able to take anymore intensified induced pain. This is an absolute nightmare and I just keep trying to move forward and say to myself there has to be an d end in sight. The Dr.'s told me that they can't help me either since I have already had injections and RFA, some people benefit from RFA and the epidurals , Facet Blocks, etc. I never did, The pain is not in your head nor mine - my back wakes me up in the middle of the night.....not my head. Thanks for reading my post , and wishing all you women out there to try and stay positive. I know how hard it is and faces a challenge until the pain generator is taken away

I also have celiac, but I've been experiencing the same pain and have had multiple biopsies to confirm it isn't related to celiac. Long story short, finally this year I got some answers. I have a couple tests and possibly a surgery coming up to confirm, but the doctors believe I have endometriosis. It's definitely worth bringing up to the doctor. And unfortunately for us, celiac makes us more susceptible to not only endometriosis, but also many other diseases and disorders because it is an autoimmune disease. Good luck and please let me know if you need help with anything celiac related.

Numbness in your leg...not to scare you, but my mom had numbness in her legs and turns out she has MS. Hers isn't nearly as bad as others I know with it, but it started in her 30's sometime. She opted out of medication and thinks thats what keeps her feeling good! Others who took the medication were really sick with it. Ask...I know this is awhile after you posted most certainly, but you never know!

I agree with this recommendation. I have severe lower left quadrant pain and inflammation. Prescriptions don't do anything for me and stretching/exercise sometimes makes things worse. Marijuana has been proven as an anti-inflammatory, pain reliever, and anti-spasmodic (which helps with digestive issues from these issues). I make marijuana butter because I don't like to smoke and it the benefits last longer. If I am in severe discomfort, this is my best option for getting to a functional state.
Best of luck and hope you find your balance.

GOOD NEWS. Early days yet, but I may inadvertently have hit on a cure for the ailments I had. Like so many, I had lower back pain extending into both groins and the thigh of my left leg, bloating and, what I first thought was stomach cramps with loose motions, severe regular stomach pains, particulary at night. Both sitting and lying down were limited to short durations. Standing was relatively pain-free. I developed my back pain in April, and assumed it was something to do with riding my new electric bike. I replaced the saddle stem with a suspension stem to no avail. The stomach pains started at the beginning of August and were sometimes unbearable. I went to see my GP just over a week ago fearing I might have something more serious (the big "C" crossed my mind). I was referred to hospital for X rays and an ultra-sound scan. I am awaiting results of both. My GP could not find anything wrong with me following a thorough examination and sent me home with a prescription for "Fybogel" to firm up my motions, which took effect after 3 sachets. Still feeling pretty rough, I went to bed for 3 days and drank only water. When I finally got out of bed, with the back and stomach pains still present, I prepared a small bowl of cereal. The first spoonful tasted foul. I threw the bowl away. I then had a chocolate penguin to take the taste away. The penguin also tasted foul. My first thought was, the milk was off and the penguin was out-of-date. Not so. To take the horrible taste out of my mouth, I ate a mint humbug. I had to go to a chemist in town later that day to collect a prescription. I also purchased a 4-pack of extra strong mints, which I hadn't had for years (aware they are full of sugar). That evening I ate just over half a roll of mints. The next morning I woke with no stomach or back pains. I had also had a complete nights sleep without going to the bathroom (which is unusual for me).
Now, I'm a fairly level-headed guy (a retired engineer) and I do not believe in coincidence and have always been a sceptic of alternative medicines. I decided to Google "mint". Only commercial junk came up. I then Googled "mint extract". Lots of results including "Wikipedea", which I then accessed. I was gobsmacked. Mint extract was considered a herbal remedy for stomach ailments including bloating, and gallstones. Had I accidentally stumbled on a cure. Well, I now consume half a pack of mints each night and am now into my fourth day without stomach pains, although I still have twinges of only slight back pain, which returned after the first pain-free day. My apology for this long-winded summary, but I know from experience the pain some of you guys must be going through. It may not solve everyone's ailments, but I do hope it helps some of you. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I have solved my own problems. Good luck and best wishes to you all.
