Me, too.  I had an ultrasound with no results.  Some occasional red cells in urine.  I think it's adhesions from a dramatic full hysterectomy 10 plus years ago.  The right ovary was embedded into the abdominal wall due to severe endometriosis.  The doc said he had to "dig" it out.  My guess is that this intermittent pain is a result of things stuck together around there as I already had some relatively extensive adhesions prior to the hysterectomy.  Ugh.

I am wondering if excessive belly (spare tire) fat can contribute to this problem. How many of you are overweight? Thats the first step: start eating living foods - green greens such as kale, spinach etc.   Renewyour mind to see a "meal" as  salads, nuts, seeds, fruits and vegetables. Eat small frequent meals.

Wake up in the morning and pray and exercise in FRESH AIR (not inside of a gym). Strengthen your abdominal and low back muscles which support your frame and organs.

Invest in a standing work desk or better yet a treadmill or bike desk.

If sitting all day, do a brisk walk to the restroom once each hour.

Stop depending on other people to solve all of your problems. Get to know your body and get it the nutrients and exercise it needs.

I've had similar issues for several years now as well. I had a c-section and then second surgery 4 hours later for internal bleeding, and the issues started about 2 years later. If I sit down for 30 minutes or more, I have a pain in my lower right abdomen that i can put my finger on -- it is in line with the belly button and about halfway between the belly button and hip. Sometimes its resolves if i get up immediately, other times it will linger for several hours or days. It comes and goes, sometimes not bothering me for months, then returning for weeks at a time. I am unable to lie on my right side -- has been that way for 5 years or so now. Any time I do, it immediately begins to hurt.

My doc has run blood tests and done an ultrasound, and everything is "normal." Has anyone had any luck with a specific diagnosis from a doc, or a resolution? Anyone with very similar symptoms, a pain that you can put your finger on that (usually resolves) when you stand up? I'm starting to feel like me Dr thinks I'm nuts. We're on a military base, so I don;t have many options to switch to a new doc.

I've been having these same symptoms. A sort of dull or aching pain that comes and goes, for about two or three weeks. Been to three doctors, no blood in urine, had all kinds of blood tests which came back okay, had an X-Ray of my stomach and kidneys, in fact most of my abdomen which apparently looked normal. The ER doctor told me I had IBS and prescribed me Bentyl which helped with one of my symptoms, the stomach issues. Still having the pain on my right side and back. Going to a stomach doctor Wednesday to get evaluated, but if it continues I might go see my normal doctor again.

I have the same symptons but not IBS. Or Adhesions as no surgery at all. Chronic hip, lower back, side and pain in tummy, down leg on right side. Been going on 4 years and starts after a period when its been a long time inbetween and continues until my next period which with transitional menopause is unpredictible. Pain caused me to pass out last year. Def gets worse when sitting in the office after couple days, very disabling right leg feels like its stiffening but pain awful. Thought it was sciatica at first and saw osteopath but it just got worse over 4 week surely muscle would heal or ease if you take it easy. My blood showed some abnormal kidney issue but based on other comments its quite scary that this may stay otherwise if I don't have another period based on other years. I think its cysts as they do go away on their own most of the time but painkillers daily is not healthy but pain is unbearable esp when all combined and down leg. It is similar to pain expected with sciatica and flack pain. Hope we all find answer. Sitting in soft chair back supported with legs up eases it for me and lots of water also. I'm lucky that I have a great doctors thats known me my whole life. He takes it seriously. Take care and any updates would be good.

I'm having pains right now that's why I'm on here thinking it's a kidney stone. Did they also do an ultrasound inside? I was getting bad pains one time and it ended up being a benign fibroid.I also had blood but then my mensi started as well but it was horrible pain not cramping from your cycle either. Sometimes even cyst that are on our ovarys burst and can hurt. Hope this helps to look into your pain. But I would think if it's not the kidney stone than that would be my second guess just from going through it myself. Also my Doctor said if the stone is passing or moving that's when it hurts. My 1st one I had 2 and pain was so bad I got sick twice out side the ER. Hope you can find the problem and the pain goes away!

Have any of the women with this issue had a urerthral caruncle?

I read that stones in the kidney can cause pain. Many docs don't think so, but removal by ureterscopy stopped the pain in many instances. Try to find an article to that effect

it might be a tight psoas muscle. check it and there are yoga poses to strengthen this muscle.
I'm facing the same thing and found that to be the most probable answer. hope this will help.

I have the same issue right now but have not seen a doctor yet, it's right below my left hip inbetween my side and butt cheek and it only happens if I lay on that side or sit to long and my back hurts sometimes too.
