TOTALLY natural! It's all the growth they are going under and expansion! I used to use Lanolin but that was YEARS ago! So there are many breast moisturizers now, even a dab of olive oil works! Don't use anything scented - as this irritates the sensitive area! Aveeno is a good one! Just look in the baby aisle - of your local pharmacy - and they should have the correct stuff there! So when you go for your scan you will actually see a baby!!!! WOW!!! It's amazing! My girlfriend is 30 weeks and she just had one of those 3-4D scans done, you can see their nails everything! It is WILD! RU going to find the sex of the baby - even though it can be up in the air at 14 weeks!?

ooh thats good! ill find some cream for them then :-)

yeahh ill get to see my baby!!! were both really excited but i dont think its really sunk into my OH yet hehe im sure seeing his baby for the first time will help with that though! :-)

i didnt think you could ask the sex of the baby untill your anomimile scan at 20+ weeks, but wwere not too sure yet wether we are going to leave it a surprise untill there born as we really dont mind what sex we have :-)

them 3d-4d scans scare me a bit becuasse they look so real! my OH mum wants us to get one but i dont think i would, baby scans should look like aliens (or maybe im just freaked out about the idea they look so real inside us)

Hi guys went for my ultrasound and baby is growing really nicely!! Is so cool how fast thehy grow in such little time. Couple questions for u mammas. First of all does the doctor automatically test ur baby for down sydrome?? Someone told be there is 2 test for it but one cause lead to a miscarriage. Is that true?? Second my skin has been really dry with this pregancy anything I can use to help my skin. Fish oils, lotion??third anything I should know or ask my doctor as I get farther along?

They only do the test when there is a reason! IF they see some signs from the ultrasound - frontal lobe, short femur, smallish nose etc. Your age - over 35 BUT definitely over 40! There are a couple of tests,1 of them is a blood test - which isn't that accurate, the other is amniocentesis - this is the one that can be a bit scarey - there is just under 1% chance of miscarriage! There is also the CVS that can be done earlier but this has about 1 - 2% chance of miscarriage!

Dry skin is VERY common - as is hair! You have to be careful with fish oil - due to the fact that it can have a bit of side effects - with loose stools etc. Try any unscented lotion - Cocoa Butter is great for the skin! You can even get Coconut Oil in tubs - which is awesome! Also some healthfood stores have Monoi de Tahiti! And this is a specia oil from Tahiti! That smells divine and is TOTALLY natural and VERY moisturizing! IF you live near a Lush store they have a GREAT product called "King of Skin" As soon as you've rinsed off - and your skin is still wet - you rub the bar all over your body and then rinse off (IF you don't you will slide EVERYWHERE) and then just dab the skin dray - so it locks in the moisture! My husband - who is a tow truck driver - uses this on his cracked hands! It's AWESOME!

bunnie i havnt read what MUM has said but i had really dry lips and the skin behind my ears and i drank 2 liters of water a day and a baby mosteriser .. huggies brand for the supermarket .... or alovea hand cream works as well that is what i used on my hands when they were dry

Well MUM guess what.. Katie hated to have a bath in the baby bath so now i have stopped bleeding (YAY) i i jumped in a big nice warm bath and brought her in with me and guess what SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVED it and then at the end she was getting a bit grumpy so i put her on the boobie and gave her a small drink then i got her out and it is 9 18pm and she is in bed she usually isnt in bed till like 10ish ... at the earliest ....

I am so proud i had to tell some one hehehehe

That is the BEST feeling isn't it? Kind of like "YES I DID IT!!!" LOL You know what Katie just might be a snuggle bum! My god son - Hudson - whom is 2 1/2 - was and still is a TOTAL snuggle bum and ALL he wanted was to be close! So hopefully you have a sling or a baby holder - I prefer the slings as they are totally close to you! and also try that blanket/sheet thing - with laying on it or holding it and then laying her on it!

Yeah same here - not getting the messages - I know this is going to be harsh, but I have a gut feeling she is allergic to milk - lactose intollerant! So see if you have some ice cream IF she reacts - if she does THAT is your culprit! Connor - my youngest - couldn't even take Isomil - soy formula - we had to get a special formula for him! The projectile vomiting is classic lactose intollerant!
