Lump between urethra and vagina

Hi all,

I have very similar symptoms to many of you- a bulge that starts a bit into my vagina and into a U-shape to my urethra.  I don't have pain, but it appeared 1.5 years ago and has recently gotten bigger, causing a sense of urgency in urination.  My urine stream also goes in crazy directions.  I've never had a bladder infection.

Did you find out what it was b/c I have the same exact thing and I'm so paranoid!!

I just went for my 6wk check up....Do not wait to have these issues addressed. If it is a diverticulum left untreated can create stones which become cancerous. Mine was the size of a golfball..talk about procrastination. Luckily cancer free and the worst part was dealing with the cathera for 8 days. Dont be stubborn like be..get checked out!!

I have had the samething happen and my o.b.g.y.n sent me to a urology. Co.e to find out it was a urethral cyst an I'm havimg surgery on the 22nd of this month to get it removed.

do you also have your period constantly as i have the same exact thing and but i had my period for a month

Same issue! I was sitting on my bathroom counter and slid off and felt a pop down below. When i felt down there was a lump between my vaginal opening and urethra. I went to the Gyno and was put on antibiotics. I was skeptic so I went to another gyno the next day. This Dr. drained the lump which thefluid was a greenish brown. He stated that if the lump comes back I would need to see a Urologyist. Unfortunately it came back. After 2 years of dealing with the mass I seen a Urologyst and was sent for an MRI and an Ultrasound and had a cystoscope done. Turns out its just a cyst on the vaginal wall right next to the urethra. They have No explanation! the cyst doesn't hurt it just makes me feel uncomfortable mentally because I know it's there. When my husband and I have sex certain positions make it pop, and then the whole mood is changed! Ughh. Well I go on the 18th to have it surgically removed and because of the location may have to stay on a cathater for a week but I guess it will be worth it to not feel like a freak!

Ok I have been dealing with the same issue since May. This month I beGan losing feeling in my fingers and arms and I also failed a hearing test. I am a methamphetamine user and I l lived With no electricity or water for four months and did a lot of picking on my face and at times fell asleep for close to a week at a time with no ac. Month before last I noticed I was losing my hair above both ears. Two months later it was getting noticably worse especially on the left side and also have began feeling progressively weak. I could even smell some kind of infection in .my sinuses when I would breathe. I got a full physical AND a well woman and it showed that I had nothing abnormal but showed signs of recently having a virus because they added an inflammation test. It became almost impossible to go to the. Bathroom no matter how much I ate or how many laxative s I take. On day. Nine of being constipated I was looking in the mirror and decided to give myself a hair cut and when I cut my bangs i felt lots of tiny hairs falling all around my body coming out of my hands and arms and face and tickling in my ears. My bald patch got smaller and Mich of my hair fell back I into place. I decided to investigate the issue at hand and low and behold the thing I had been trying pick and pull out of my vagina was literally unraveling but as I unraveled it I see now that it has been ingrown from my scalp a s trying to come out at my vagina for a very lo g time thirty minutes and it was still going in like In a spiral. I had always thought it strange that my pimples were all exactly symmetrical as was my hair loss. Now it make sense. The hair is somehow growing ingrown continually. Do you think perhaps a hair follicle has grown into our sweat glands? Check on both sides behind your ear cartilage in your face next to your ears I. Your chest near your collar bone you tempermendibular joint and all the way down on both sides for the ingrown hairs that uve had in the past. Have you been feelj g tired or sick? I thought I was gob g to die Nd luckily was given an antibiotic from a friend before I cut my hair. Try seeing of you can have your doctor supply an antibiotic. Make sure to include your calcium because I do believe it has to do with too much phosphate due to a calcium deficiency But please if anyone finds they have the same out co me as me I'd really like to know. Believe its "morgellons disease" the further I unravel it turned red due to minsra cycle I'm guessing. And please don't just go cut your hair and start pulling I do believe the antibiotics and calcium intake made my unraveling Happen. Have spent months Pulling on it aimlessly Nd caused myself much pain

Omg I am going through this exact same issue as we speak! I've just got back from hospital, this is the 4th time in 5 months I have had it, been operated on once but it keeps returning, has drained itself twice but now waiting to see a surgeon tomorrow, I refuse to let them not find out why it's happening and what it is this time!!

Please, I have the same exact thing, can you please let me know what ended up happening? I am freaking out...

I have the same , noticed it when I was near 7 months pregnant and honestly thought it may've been a cyst /vaginal hemorrhoid /pregnancy associated issue -seeing as how I've only been 7 months pregnant that once-then when i had my son it hadn't gone anywhere-pointed it out and asked my ob/GYN @ 4/6/8 week post birth checks and they said it's normal but swollen and would go down -it was swollen to discomfort but it's gone down but still covers my vaginal opening and is literally right on the outside and into my vaginal opening -is it just a normal thing or was my oB/GYN trying to brush off something because I asked tons of new mom/vaginal questions ??? I need a solid serious answer please and thank u-I'll continue research and a oB/GYN visits scheduled for 5weeks away to have my mirena changed out and I'll reply of course if I'm given any new medical info hoping it'll help another lady, thanks for reading my paragraphs =)

Wow.... maybe lay off the meth

I actually have a very similar problem. However, it isn't painful really. Intercourse isn't a problem, but urination can sting a tiny bit sometimes. I've had the lump for at least two or three years. I actually thought it was normal at first. Anyway, it is a firm lump that I can put my fingers around. It is below the urethral opening (directly in line with it) and nearly covers it. It is large enough that it extends to the vaginal canal and goes into it slightly. I don't know if that was exactly helpful, but perhaps it's the same issue?

I spend a lot of time down there as an aesthetician (Brazilian wax laser hair removal) and 1. don't dousche it increases infection by removing necessary bacteria unless an obgyn advises (doubtful) 2. no soaps detergents as they too wash away necessary bacteria. 3. HPV test, rule it out. 4. hibiclens is the only thing I ever use as I have chronic yeast bv and God knows as I need a good obgyn so hard to get good healthcare. p.s
if not insured walk in clinics and planned parenthood are where I've gone don't ignore it. follicle hair isn't on your labia minora and ive never seen an ingrown or pimple in the clitoris or urethra or vaginal opening ever. only on the bikini area. I shave mine so I get itchy 24/7 and use antifungal after shaving, hibiclens on the urethra as I have serious digestive medication disorder reactions. mine was swollen painful to sit and foul odor supreme. urine stinks too. possible kidney disorder inflammatory bowel disease, cancer is rare on urethra, HPV not rare.
I'm scared myself and am in a abusive relationship where I have no access to get my medical care and suffer. please get yourself tested for HPV all STDs, pid get a cytology and have a dermatologist check you for skin cancer. I may sound overzealous but it's your health. if a,dr. ran a CT they emit so much radiation and are pretty intensive. id make sure my labs were done correct and you csn go to government health sites that give very informative accurate info to guide you. honesty is posting on boards furthers anxiety and is no replacement for a good obgyn do your homework and I wish you all the best in love health and prosperity.
