Go to a uro-gynocologist. I spent 2-4 years going to gyn specialist, the best in the area, gyn therapy & testing. They said "oh we know u have a problem but don't know how to fix it". I have an inherited disorder, elhers danlos syndrome. Had to travel several hours away, UVA. Dr Trowbridge was awesome. We now have a uro-gyn in the Roanoke area but he too busy, have to wait months. Mine is/was a recto-enterocele. The intestine was falling out between the bladder & vagina, thru the vaginal opening, not out thru the rectum. Mine is an inherited issue. Good luck

I have the exact same thing the way you do but it just feels uncomfortable and kinda ruff it looks like little slices and holes and it creeped me out so bad im worryed i dont think it hurts i dont finger myself so i wouldn't knoe but i think it would if i did sense its uncomfortable and i dont like the feeling when its touched .. i hope you get answers i need some to..

It is an urethral cyst. I had one and had surgery for it and then it grew back. Mine is extremely painful. Sex is impossible. It's hard to see because spectulum goes right over it and hurts like hell. Hope this helps

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I've been suffering for several months/years from this problem! I give such a wide timeline because I have felt like I have a UTI and kidney infection forever, but the many ER doctors, Ureologist and handful of other doctors have all told me that nothing is wrong. I have given probably 7 or more urinalysis tests, and oddly, most of them contained bacteria. Because urine is sterile, the doctors ALL told me that my urinalysis was tainted, disregarded completely without further investigation!!! Every instance that bacteria was found, it was blamed on me, because 1) I didn't clean myself properly before urinating, or 2) I obviously didn't know how to collect my pee, by catching it midstream. NO!!! I've had a very painful UTI type pain, and my back has been killing me for many months, but they find nothing. Many times I've been dismissed as either crazy or just making it up! Now a very painful, large growth has formed, and at least I can show them a very large hard node between my vulva and urethra as proof for my "craziness!". Your description is perfect for the physical ailment, and may none of you have to go untreated as long as I have. The pain is so severe, and NY doesn't believe in pain killers!!! IN HELL!!!!

I'm so glad to hear someone else say this causes depression because I feel so robbed of my sexuality. As usual 4 doctors never found anything. I have that lump and use of a tampon burns like crazy and causes me to bleed from the urethra. My therapist advised me to try a tampon with yogurt on it and as I'm post menopausal I'm not having periods so know the blood is not ovarian. I have had this for 3 years with no help and up until then had sex most days. I could cry with the annoyance of it and am feeling so desperate with no support. I havnt had sex properly for 3 years now. Just twice after a lot of wine and then I bled and was so sore. The consultants couldn't see a thing wrong with me and said the swelling was my tendinous arc so I told them I've never had it blocking my vagina before. It is now about an inch across and just looks like 2 masses of tissue. There is no longer a vaginal entrance. I was so perfect and beautiful down there and had a wonderful sex life. I was a very late starter so this is just devastating for me. 7 years of marriage and then no sex. I hadn't even had children so no damage from that. I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do as I have seen the top consultants in my country and have turned to alternative treatment with no improvement and I know my own body so I'm not imagining it. I know because I never bled after sex and my urethral opening didn't burn very badly, maybe temporarily after rough sex. The menopause was horrendous for me but this is even worse to be left with something I can't explain.

I do too. Went to urgent care today and they say vaginal cyst, but I am not convinced. It burns/stings constantly, but worse with urinating. It is also slightly itchy and the vaginal opening but they ruled out yeast and bv. I have the lump between my urethral opening and vaginal opening and is about a grape size. Very very painful to sit upright or to touch it. It is rather hard, but is completely underneath the skin layer, almost like it is more in the urethra and protruding out into the vaginal opening. They prescribed norco for the pain because it is so bad. Had a little relief with that as was able to get some sleep in. They also prescribed two different antibiotics which I just started and have had one dose so far without much improvement. I know it takes time, so I am just hoping it starts feeling better soon... very uncomfortable and about an 8 on the pain scale. Of course I'm scaring myself into thinking it is cancer, but it does feel better to know that other people are experiencing or have experienced similar issues.

I experienced the same thing.. it stated as frequent urge to urinate, then feeling of needle like pain in my private area, i thought it was yeast infection, but when i pointed the water hose to my private area, a tingling yet painful feeling arise. I touch it and felt a almond size lump between my urethra and vaginal opening, it’s uncomfortable to sit because it’s painful, and there’s the most annoying part, frequent urge to pee, yet only came out a little. I did wash my area with betadine feminine wash, and did sitz bath and wash it with the same lukewarm water, still the lump and all of it’s annoying characteristics were there, so i thought of drinking pain reliever, i took a capsule of celecoxib together with an antihistamine, the pain was there and everything, so i resigned and slept. The morning after that, there was no discomfort, no more pain, or anything else, so i thought, i should drink again later to prevent it from stinging and to relieve the itchiness. But since i got busy, i forgot to take one, when i was at the restroom, i thought of checking it out, i touched the same area but there’s no longer a lump there, no more pain, no more urge to pee, no more itchiness, no more discomfort. I’m not sure if this is forever or not, but at least i thought pf something to get rid of it..
