Hi, there are few things that you should know. A so called lump in the throat can be a result of many things. Infections are one of the most probable causes of these conditions. Sometimes the muscles around the throat are pressing it too hard and that is why someone feels a lump. This also makes it hard to swallow. And, of course, there could be some problems with thyroid gland. In most of the cases, lumps disappear on their own or with the use of some medications. However, you must see a doctor. Since your condition is lasting for two months, and the lump is still there, that is the only wise decision that you can make. You see, no one can tell you what is causing your condition for certain without the proper tests. That is why a visit to the doctor is important. After the diagnosis is established, you will also get the right treatment.
