You need to rid yourself of candida, it plays tricks on your mind and everything is much worse in your head than thing are in real life. I know its hard and I struggle with it but you have to try and see these feelings are caused by candida byproducts such as aceteldahyde and they aren't real you are not going crazy and when you are better you will be able to tackle these things with a clear head and things that seem like climbing a mountain now will become a walk in the park.

To help with candida related anxiey/depression take at least a spoonful of MACA powder each day stir it into a cup of tea hell take two teaspoons if you can afford it but start with one and work your way up, MACA also helps kill candida to. Other products I reccomend are Bayberry and Milk Thistle these will help your liver detox more efficiently and reduce dieoff symptoms. Molebdenum supplementaion is also a good idea as it helps the body get rid of aceteldahyde which is one of the worst candida byproducts.

Now i have to try and stay of the weed for a while and try beat this once and for all!

I too am beginning to have an experience with Candidiasis. My Candidiasis began to surface in the form of an oral infection at the same time that I had begun abstaining from cannabis after the better part of the last 4-5 years of my life (if not completely abstaining, then at least reducing my intake significantly - on and off). I am seeing lots of familiar details in many of the above descriptions from you all. I believe have begun to connect the dots between some of the seemingly strange and obscure symptoms of Candidiasis.

Does ingesting cannabis *in forms other than smoking* (oil, butter, tincture) still effect our bodies in the crucial ways that you and I are beginning to learn? The apparent connection between smoking cannabis and Candidiasis is brand new and also very scary to me.

IF ANYONE HAS INFO OR OPINION REGARDING THIS I AM HIGHLY APPRECIATIVE.

Namaste.

I had very strong Candida Albicans. After a long time period I smoked Cannabis and all Candida Albicans symptoms has been improved. So I keeped smoke Cannabis for a few more days and... Candida Albicans disapered! But i did not want to smoke everyday, so I stop smoking. After a few days was still all OK, so I tried to eat some sweet cake, and Candida Albicans returned. Uhhh.... Now I am sure, that Cannabis heal Candida Albicans. But the "healing" process is in my opinion in psychical level:

Candida Albicans is YEAST and Cannabis do influence our mind and make things OK. Without smoking Cannabis the OUTER WORLD looks to be bad, make us angry and we keep thinking about these unconfortable things again and again and it grows in our mind as YEAST. While one is smoking, there are no big problems to deal with and life is unnaturally soft... and no fermentation in our mind happens. Because illnesses are just mirror of our mind, therefore missing ability to deal with problems as we should do (to solve problems or do not make problems only because something is different as we want to have it) shows us the bad side of being angry on our body, where happens the same process as in our mind. The yeast grows and brings problems on our body.

Symptoms of Candida Albicans can be quite unpleasant and make one (for example by itching) permanently nervous. Good school to learn how to deal with real problems in our life to keep us not angry, but keeping the nervousness in control.

For help or healing Candida Albicans you should use instead of Cannabis:
- Grep seed extract
- Coconut oil
- Oregano oil
+diet: No sugar in any form, no white flour, no bread made with East
These are rather strong helpers. But you must use it minimal twice a day + keep the diet.

Good luck to everyone to heal soon from Candida Albicans. And do not forget, please, the pernament health and rid of Candida Albicans can be achieve only by change in our way how we deal with everyday problems which usually makes us nervous and keeping growing our nervousness into aggressiveness.

THC does have strong antifungal properties the problem that i have found is that plant matter can contain mold and fungus and so you are healing yourself with thc but also ingesting spores so when you stop smoking the infection takes hold again , so it is an apparent vicious cycle. I had an amazing reaction when I recently started smoking hash (just the resin crystals with most of the plant material separated) the first time i smoked it  it cleared my symptoms up immensely I could actually feel it clearing my sinuses. I would say that conentrates are the way to go, look into bubble bags as they are the safest way to make pure hash. I now only smoke hash and my condition is improving weekly. YOu should really use a vapouriser for health reasons especially if you have a bad case of candida.

Dude, get some pro-biotics and go to the doctor. Your symptoms are not withdrawal. Have you noticed like jock itch or thrush in the corners of your mouth or other external fungal infection symptoms...that would be a sign you may be experiencing internal growth. Withdrawal symptoms would be limited to craving, headache, lack of appetite that sort of thing. 7 weeks of the sh**s is something else, I assure you.

I've been smoking habitually for about 5 years now but i technically first smoked when i was about 12 and going through puberty. When i got to be about 13 I gradually became more and more depressed, delusional and irrational. I was and still am diagnosed as bipolar with suicidal thoughts and tendencies.  i always thought that I was "self medicating" by smoking but now I'm starting to wonder if it is the cause of my emotional disorder?

I have also suffered from the candida for about 2 or 3 years and just recently BV for about 4 months.

I have not really been too diligent with making healthy eating habits but I have been researching the yeast infection only to find that it has similar symptoms to depression and can even cause depression, but i wasn't really having this issue until after i was already depressed and suicidal. Now I'm reading this topic and realizing maybe the herb is not only causing the depression but the infections as well... seems like and easy fix, quit smoking and not only gain my libido and raise my immune system but potentially get rid of not only this perpetual annoyance of an infection but potentially gain my sanity back?

The only problem is how sane will i be if i quit cold turkey and how addicted am i after all?

What would the best method be? And what other herbs could i take to "replace" the medicinal benefits i was receiving from the herb (for chronic back pain, nausea and depression) I was drinking a rhodiola mixed herbal tea that would help with my flexibility but also helped to relax me and enhanced my vision but i can't think of what the perfect combination of legal herbs i can drink to receive the similar medicinal effect of the herb.

Okay, pot is good for you, it fights cancer and balances stress, mitigates diabetes and many other illnesses...withdrawal symptoms are minimal and you can always ween yourself off. If you have to pass a drug test or quit for something important there are methods to deal with such a emergency...candida die-offs etc. do cause irritability in some people that may superficially resemble irritability from marijuana or more likely nicotine withdrawal, but the underlying cause is quite different...the toxins excreted by the candida have other damaging physical long term effects as well...but, why would quitting marijuana help your problem? I don't see it...read about candida...take probiotics (the expensive 50 billion organisms kind, three-lac, Kolorex, neem extract, drink kefir daily and learn how to manage the candida...it has been a source of depression/adhd-ish symptoms and also damaged my lips and mouth and teeth from the oral thrush... candida is a silent slow insidious drain on your life and you get it under control you'll be happier. Pot is a good thing, it helps everything...it doesn't affect the ecosystem in your gut in any way... I can't believe it's part of your problem...if your lugs are symptomatic, you ca vaporise or eat caabis cookies (no-yogurt/hash smoothies...the cookies will feed your cadida-get it?) or whatever... Get the yogurt, kefir, probiotics, three-lac and Kolorex and start sifting through candida forums for info, try not to panic, some of the stuff in those forums is exaggerated and alarmist or product-marketing hype, but use your head, think about why the candida is there...are you diabetic or eating lots of sugars (it thrives on glucose...) or is your immune system compromised? Quitting weed wont cure your candida, it will just make you more stressed and more vulnerable to cancer...why risk it?

my my, a nice example of cognitive dissonance... don't diss my precious ganja, how dare you... :)

This is what I believe happens with certain people:

Cannabis decreases gastro intestinal motility (speed), this is proven fact. Therefore it can throw the ecosystem (bacteria/funghi) of your intestines off balance. As funghi are kept under control by good bacteria, they could florish in an off-balance environment. Also bacteria can start to florish in the wrong places.
Together with a bad diet (lots of carbohydrates) this can give lots of problems. So changing to a healthy diet is essential and quitting the ganja is also strongly adviced.

Another thing I believe that can happen is that your mind can get 'stressed' using cannabis, because of all kinds of emotions that can develop from using cannabis (anxiety!, rage from not being able to not smoke, rage/guilt from the dissaproval of people surrounding you, rage about your impaired mental capabilities, depression etc. etc.) . This can lead to real physical symptoms, like neck pain, head aches, but it could also deregulate your immune-system (THC causes a suppressed immune system anyway) and mess up your intestines. Getting better means quitting the ganja to be able to ease those emotions and changing to a healthy diet to help things get on track in your body is strongly adviced.

To add: "withdrawal symptoms are minimal".... compared to herione? yes, you are right. But just read the stories here about people who withdraw and complain about anxiety, sleep disorder, nausea, throwing up, diarhea etc. which can last from a couple of days till weeks or even months.

Stating that pot doesn't affect the ecosystem in your gut or that it is a good thing that helps everything is simply not true. Sure, for a lot of people it's harmless and for people with certain conditions it can even be very beneficial, but just not for everyone.

..I agree with you! I am a Cervical Cancer survivor, who was suffering from candida symptoms and Inflammatory bowel disease long before I was diagnosed and began using cannabis for some of those symptoms associated, when I found myself in a vicious cycle with prescription meds. I did the Candida Diet Strictly for 3 months. not only Did my symptoms improved dramatically( without having to gross anyone out), I lost 30lbs, & My over all health has improved 90% and thru it all (the die off, depression etc) my use of cannabis kept me sane and able to continue with ridding my body of this Candida infection. today I continue on a less strict candida diet, healthier with more energy than ever, health is improving....however I am still on the same herbal anti fungals as on the diet, and I continue to use cannabis in place of anti depressants. Cannabis is NOT the problem..its the munchies you consume lol it always boils back down to what your putting in your mouth/ body. Unhealthy lifestyles, and food habbits PERIOD. Be honest with yourself and stop tryin to blame something or someone else for your condition/situation. 98% of americans are addicted to sugar in fact thats our biggest problem..our own food industry...but thats a whole other Blog lol EDUCATE YOURSELVES, STOP Believing everything you read online. Have a Blessed day.

lol, I know its an old post but... I think you've watched and believed "Reefer Madness".

Its statements like this ^^ "(anxiety!, rage from not being able to not smoke, rage/guilt from the dissaproval of people surrounding you, rage about your impaired mental capabilities, depression etc. etc.)" Rage and Cannabis don't even share the same reality.

Hi. Ive read this whole thread and still have ?'s about my cannabis withdrawal. I moved from CA to AZ, and never lived in this dry a climate. I quit vaporizing high THC strains a little over 4 weeks ago. Used to vapor 3-4x a day. And Ive smoked/vapored about 14 years. Ive quit cold turkey before and all I had was dizziness/lightheadedness for about 2 months, but thats it.

This time, as I said, its been a little over 4 weeks of no marijuana. I have no anxiety. But, I have severe, severe dizziness/lightheadedness, headaches that comes and goes, chronic fatigue, mild flu feeling/warm skin (but no temp higher then 1° over normal), constant mild sore throat, stiff back of neck, joints and lower back pain, loss of normal appetite (though still eating), unrefreshing sleep/insomnia then I sleep during the day (wtf!), and chest pressure.

Ive been to the doctor 3x. They did blood work, tested me for anemia, thyroid, metabolic workup and valley fever. All came out normal. Also had an ekg on my heart (bc 2 weeks ago my heart was pounding harder then normal and had major shortness of breath), lung blowing test, all normal. Im having someone come in to test my apt. for mold in 2 days too just in case. Ive never ever felt these severe withdrawal symptoms, especially almost 5 weeks out. Is this normal for having been such a constant vaporizer? Im wondering if withdrawing from vaporizing is worse then smoking bc in the past when I quit I was smoking from a bong. Any experiences or suggestions would be most appreciated. If anything is giving me anxiety at all, its just wanting to feel normal and untired again so I can be active in my life.

Anxiety can be sh*t. All the symptoms you describe may be related to anxiety. I've been like this for 8 months and it's gradually getting better.

With all respect, Im not sure you read my comments. I said I DONT have issues so much with anxiety, its the dizziness, the stiff neck, the minor sore throat and joint aches that are bothering me. I dont feel panicked or anxious, just physically strange. And it seems to be going for too long, 5 weeks now andwas wondering if anyone else had these symptoms, or if they are symptoms of half withdrawal, half candida?

I read your comment and I repeat myself - it is probably anxiety. It can also manifest in symptoms which you describe.

Your symptoms are 99% psychosomatic. Go see a doctor if you don't believe me.

Its not anxiety. Anxiety would not make me sleep 10-12 hours a day, everyday for the past 5 weeks. Nor would it give me severe lower back pain. A kind of pain Ive never experienced in my life. Ive been to the doctor 3x and they found nothing, but also didnt think it was anxiety. Only ever mentioned withdrawals. Ive withdrawn for months at atimea time other times in my life and never had this. Its my body. I know what Im feeling and I know if anxiety would cause this. Its NOT anxiety. Im having a mold expert come and test my home bc this didnt start until I moved. Theres a musty smell in my place and both my cats eyes tear and she sneezes more then she ever has. Ive had her for 14 yrs. and shes never been like this either. Im telling you, its something else.
