I can't believe it's already been almost two years since he went to jail for fighting dogs in his mansion. He's out of jail now and I heard that he has to do work with an animal rights group to talk about how dog fighting is wrong and how he's amended his ways. What do you think about it? I don't think anyone's going to come out in favor of dog fighting but what do you think about his sentence and what he's been asked to do?

I will say that I am a true animal lover. I can't even watch the Lassie re-runs without tears. As for Vick, he needed to develop a sensitivity regarding animals. It would have been much more effective or him to have to spend 2 years serving animals in some sort of capacity. What did 2 years of unproductive punishment do. He was probably applauded and treated like a celebrity in jail, with no compensation required. It was a waste of time. Now his celebrity status will be boosted again with all of the pending interviews. Do we pay this much attention to child abusers? Not at all. What he was participating in was horrible. However, did the punishment change his views or his conscience?
