Monistat 1- discharge..

I used the 1 day treatment 6 days ago. I began to notice a creamy white discharge that I figured was the ovule dissolving. That finally stopped, but now I have a white film on the inside of my vagina that smells really bad. Has anyone else ever had this?

yes i used monistat 1 7 days ago and i am still having a white milky substance still dripping from my vagina and i am becoming concerned and the first couple of days there was no odor just a smell like medicine but now it is a foul odor is there anyone else that had this problem and when will it end.

Yes i am going thru this now im on day 5 and the white film now has a odor im going to the obgyn tomorrow...did you find out what was going on?

probably a bladder infection.iI would see a dr

I took it three days ago and it stopped with the discharge buy now there is a pasteyness coming out little by little. Like the consistency of deodorant. Is this normal?! Plzz help

Ok i am so glad I found this site....I thought I was going insane...I had a lot of itching on the weekend. And a little bit of discharge. So I decided to take the one day Monistat. The itching stopped but the discharge is like crazy....I feel like I need to scoope it out. It'sirritating. And embarrassing %-). I m glad to hear its somewha normal. I hate yeast infections I have bEen battling it for a while. And it keeps on coming back. I have tried everything natural possible :(

Ugh...I just inserted the "egg" a few hours ago and my vagina is on FIRE!! awe man oh man, I don't want to he a girl anymore! This thing hurts!! And its very embarrassing! Hopefully I can make it through the next couple of days! Thank goodness I don't have to work for the next few days! :-( <--- in pain and can't sleep

I am having a similar problem, I had a yeast infection and I got the Monistat 3 and used it but I was still irritated and there was still white discharge so i got Walgreens one day. I do not recommend Walgreens brand because the plastic insert that holds the egg was too big and it scraped my insides and the egg didnt stay in, it stayed in the insert. The egg ended up popping and it didn't even go in. Any ways It was so red and swollen and iritated down there so I used Emu oil. This oil is very expensive but I bought it a few months ago for my face. The emu oil worked so well to ease the itch because the cream that came with the Monistat didnt seem to work well. Also I bought vagisil too because that seemed to ease the itch better too. The Vagisil burned really bad at first but than when it stopped it felt better. Any ways After I used the Monitstat 3 and the day after I used the Walgreens (attempted) I looked clear down there and the itch stopped so I had intercourse with my boyfriend. It didn't burn inside but it kinda hurt on the outside near where my female spot meets my rear. Today it didnt really itch but there was a pastey discharge. I am hoping it is not coming back and it will clear up in a few days. I tried to call my dr and in order to get an appt sooner than my annual check up I have to speak to a nurse and they never answer they have to call you back. I am at work all day so I was playing phone tag. Good luck everyone else!

I am having the exact problem it has been 6 days and I still hav the milky white stuff. did anyone ever answer you cuz I cant even figure out how to read other peoples posts that might hav answered you. please help

This is my second time having a yeast infection and so I decided to use Monistat for the first time instead of going to the doctor. Right after I applied the 1-day monistat, My symptoms worsened(which was said that that would happen in the packet), it was very uncomfrtable. So i decided to fall asleep and wait it out until the morning. I woke up with no symptoms of itchiness anymore. I went to the restroom to pee and as i wiped, I noticed i had A LOT of discharge(like the ones described up there) so i looked at myself down there and I still had a lot coming out. As i wiped, i felt a little burn and pain and once i was done wiping, i started to have some itchiness...That is my first day expirience after i have applied 1-day monistat. Lets see how the rest of the days go:)

I used Monistat 7 and it burned like hell last night. I made myself go to sleep. Well today there was no itching, but then the discharge started. I was thinking that maybe it was the monistat, but afraid that I had an STD. It has no odor, and it looks kind of off white as mentioned above. I'm glad to have found this msg board. Last night I had to find another one on the subject of the discomfort that Monistat causes. The sting makes me feel faint. Good day ladies!

Honestly, that sound much more like a urinary tract infection.

So I used monistat 1 after having bad itching for a few days. I didn't know it would leak out of me so at work today I had soooooo much off white cottage cheese discharge it was horrible and uncomfortable. The burning is disgusting and horrible feeling. I just hope it goes away soon. I used monistat 3 day before and it wasn't. Too bad. It's still red and sore and I still don't know how I got a yeast infection but yeah. Make sure you wear a pad !!!!

I am at the end of day 2 after using the monistat 1. This is my first time getting a yeast infection, i did not experience any weird discharge, although I was on the tail end of my period so hard to tell. The itching was unbearable and I could not wait for a doctors appt. I have never had unprotected sex so the chances of it being an STI are very slim, although possible. I am a microbiologist in training and hate to use such harsh chemicals in an environment that relies so heavy on a BALANCED microbial community, but I could not go about my day knowing that the infection was getting worse and worse. So, to my dismay I used the monistat 1. The first day it felt like i inserted a bleach tablet into my vagina. extremely uncomfortable. I had a lot of discharge, mostly pink with little white chunks. I am assuming the white junks are the yeast cells but I cant be positive. The discharge made things extremely uncomfortable for that first 24 hrs. Definitely use a pad because it will exit quickly and unexpectedly. I am assuming the tablet you insert is filled with the medication and the outer shell dissolves in your vagina. 

Anyway, at first my labia were extremely irritated and inflamed from the medication, but now at the end of day 2 it is much better. Just stick through it. My advice would be to purchase the 3 day vs the 1 day if you HAVE to use monistat/cant wait for the doctor. I still have a doctors appt to run an STD screen and confirm everything is on the right track. I would also recommend putting a towel on your bed and sleeping without panties, just to keep the environment down there dry and anti-fungal lol.
