I got mono back in college @ 19 years old, and also got nailed with chicken pox (guessing I got it when I went to Doc for mono).

Anyway, fast forward 7 years and my doc says I have mono again. Had a 2 day fever or so and swollen throat (white with red bumps).

I rested and felt better 1-2 weeks later, but now 7-8 weeks later I still have fatigue, and my throat is still swollen (but doesnt hurt). I feel "ok" but not great. I do go to the gym 3-4ish times a week, but only sometimes do I feel energetic.

I never had a swollen spleen or liver, just the above symptoms. Doc did a BIG run of blood tests (sorry I cant quote, but some type of 'smear'?) and said everything looks fine and he thinks it just a bad case of mono.

He offered to prescribe me anti-depressants that should help my energy. The thought of something that effects my brian scares me.

Any thoughts on the subject? Any other diseses the doc could have easily missed?

I eat very healthy, work out, etc so I am in good shape. Other than the mono :-(

Thanks!
