But I got to the bathroom regularly. He told me to drink a whole bottole of this liquid laxitive...poor me. And I still have it. So checking in for an altrasound.

28 year old Male. I have the same thing. I thought it was maybe from a rib injury, I have not gone to the Dr. for it. No pain. Just a big movable lump under right rib.

I wish some of the people who went the the Dr. would post again.

It was freaking me out, but after having it for months and it not getting bigger and seeing that so many others have the same thing I am not as worried about it.

Sounds more common than the Dr.'s think it is.

Looks like this thread started over 2 years ago and nobody has come up with a solution. I noticed my lump this evening. My Lower back started hurting and then my stomach got bloated and I have a gnawing pain under my rib cage on the right side. When I touched it felt a lump, I had my husband confirm that he felt it too. Wondering what it could be. Please post if anybody knows.

Age 38 almost. I'm thinner than I've ever been. I noticed this same movable lump while laying on my back a few months ago. Going for a CT scan in a few but after running blog I'm feeling relieved. I think it's just a part of our anatomy that we can feel due to being very thin.

Yes you all...I too have the exact same thing. Only once in a while while standing i have i golf size ball maybe a little bigger that appears right in the middle of my rib cage but about 3 inches down! When i push it disappears with sometimes a little acidy sound. When i go to bed and lay on my bach the golf size ball appears on my lower right side of my tummy.. i have lost 60 lbs in the last 3 years and this has been going on a little over a year so im sure its all related cuz i have a strong heart beat just above my belly button.. Has anyone got an exact answer on this yet? If you google it in it always pulls up some kind of cancer and i know it's not.. Please respond to this anyone please..

I have the same thing. I am 27 but I started feeling it a couple of years ago. I had a cat scan and they said I was just constipated, and then I was like well if I was constipated would that have covered up something significant? A few doctors have felt it, and said they did not think it was anything, and sometimes doctors could not feel it because like we say its movable. I just worked out today and after I worked out I could feel a lump on the right side of my abdomen. Now that I am relaxed and just sitting I don't feel it, it does seem to be only if I am laying down. I have felt it on the right and the left side. So weird. I am thin too and I have had two kids. I have always been thin my whole life. Right now I am 120 pounds and 5'8. So maybe because we are all thin we can just feel this. Idk.

I have the same thing.

Google floating kidney. It's a condition where your kidney isn't held down by the connective tissues like it should be. Don't worry it's not too harmful. Can be fixed by minimally invasive surgery if needed.

I too have been battling this thing for about a year now. I have a strange hard lump in my right intestinal area that bothers me more when I lay down, and I can move to a higher position below the ribs. I have had a ton of tests (EGD, colonoscopy, x-ray, ultrasound, ct scan, hida scan for gallbladder) and nothing. The only thing noticable on x-ray and ct scan was I was constipated. But even after being put on Amitiza for ibs I haven't had relief from this thing. I have begun to doubt every doctor because my pain has slowly increased since this started and they all look at me like I have issues. And I do I want to know why I can't fix this thing!! I'm still scared it could be cancer despite all the tests, I have 4 kids I need to see grow up. If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear. I know the anxiety evryone is going through....
