I am 39 year old asian man . My waistline has dropped from 34 to 29 over last 2-3 years with some 10-12 pounds of weight loss. Initially I suspected the stomach problem and got stool tests done. The results were OK. I am not sure of I am doing something wrong but the steady loss of butt muscles is driving me nuts. There are no secondary symptoms that will point to anything else.

ANy thoughts / guidance would be helpful.
It is possible that you are losing fat around your butt area rather than muscle. The best way to gain muscle size is weight training.

Thanks hoseclamps for your response. Actually I do regular weight training. For legs, I focus on sqats, lunges and leg extensions. Should I be doing something else?
