Most of the comments I have read on this website (and other websites too) are focused on losing weight due to obesity. I am just a little bit overweight with a few pounds to lose, and I am trying to achieve that mainly through working out, though I am also interested in learning about which diet would be good for weight loss and muscle gain. Don't tell me to go on a starvation diet - starving yourself breaks your muscles down! Any tips?

I think the best thing for it is a healthy and varied diet - no eating less, or doing special tricks or anything like that. A healthy breakfast is quite important I think, and something high in protein will set you up for the day. Staying away from too many grains can help you feel more energetic as well. Hope that helps!
