You MIGHT want to check that you dont have a Pilon idol sinus down there....between your butt cheeks. I had yrs of trouble 20 yrs ago....needed 5 operations over 6 yrs....it was a nightmare to get rid off. Basically its an abcess, caused by ingrowing hair.....and it leaks smelly blood like stuff, so that would account for the wetness and the smell. I have been living with the same thing again this past 5 yrs or so, but after trying to get it treated, and it just keep coming back, i decided to live with it rather than go thro the surgery option again.

I have this problem too. What Iv'e done is, I've used baby-powder. it works good on preventing the smell and sweat. Just use a perfume to cancel the baby powder out. Good luck man.

Likely not a pilonidal cyst. This is most likely dead skin cells and a tight crack, where movement grinds the skin cells and a little moisture makes a dead skin cell paste which starts to attract bacteria. The odor is a sweet, cheeze like odor which is very ugly and pungent. Heres how you fix it. After you shower, pack some toilet paper in the crack for 10 minutes to absorb all moisture, then apply SEASORB powder liberally to the crack. This is an antibacterial powder which is very strong and works great. You must apply it at least twice a day, and shower twice a day as well and after any exercise which makes you sweat. Lots of boys and men get a tuft of hair at the very top of the crack, and that can be a source of friction and irritation, shave it off. This is also where a pilonidal cyst will start, you will know if you have one, they are extremely painful and leak blood and puss from a little duct. The lazer surgery for it is fast and painless and 100% effective now. Smelly butt crack is annoying, but human. If you do what I say above, it will be minimally troublesome.

SOLUTION BUT NOT LONG TERM: buy CICALFATE cream from Eau Thermale Avene. Put it mornings and evenings, there will be no smell at all when you put it daily (you will not smell at all). Just a small amount, smudge it. Try it for two months, after thet it will reduce the smell probably. But it will probably not remove it completely.

First, always wipe ur ass in sitting position. Ppl who wipe their ass after standing up after finishing sh**ting just make the whole crack dirty and it can get smelly after. You would need more paper to clean aswell.
Second, your complains sounda like hemorroids problem! Ita something with a genetic potantioal and it get worse due long sitting times. It can be fixed easily by visiting proctologist. Good luck

Ive been having this problem for a year now, and I can shower and shower 5 times a day but it doesn't help. I keep myself clean and I still smell weird and I sweat all the time around my butt area. I smell like fart or poop for no reason,I can't do anything to stop it, and when I get nervous I sweat out of control and my boxers are all wet and the smell gets worse.
