Hi my name is Joe and my dad just recently started coughing up blood, and he sometimes cannot move and can't feel his whole left side of his body...he has gone to the doctor in the past about his body going numb and not bein able to move but they told him thats not possible and sent him home. i'm really worried what could be wrong with him

This does not sound like something that is "nothing" or impossible.
I've heard this bit about "nothing being wrong" and moved my Dad to another doctor and hospital and it turned out to be a medical emergency.
Don't rely on one doctor's opinion! If instincts tell you something is wrong don't settle ...keep moving till you find the cause.
