I have a friend who was brought to the USA (we're located in Chicago) from Mexico as a small child. He's been here ever since, and he's American in every way except on paper. He has a dark vertical line running down his thumb nail. We're concerned that he could have Subungal Melanoma. Although he works two jobs and goes to school, he is not covered by any type of health insurance. He's only 24, and needs this issue looked at...where can someone in his situation get help? I don't want him to ignore it because he's uninsured. If it is serious, he needs help. If he waits too long because of no insurance, it could become very serious, if it isn't already. Where can he go, who can help him?! Please help us!
