Me & my girlfriend recent,y had an argument & she got really upset & told me that if I didn't text her from someone's phone it was over. She only said this because she was having a horrible week, when we got home my mom went through our messages & saw our argument. She then made me read an article about controlling relationships, & I got mad, I told my girlfriend & she said that shed never hit me or anything, & I believe her, she's nothing like that, so she got upset & told me that it was embarrassing that my mom thought of her that way so she broke up with me & said "she didn't wanna be in a relationship" so I said " just a couple hours ago you said you wanted to be with me forever" & she replied "just a couple hours ago your mom didn't think of me the way she does noW" I told her it didn't matter what my mom thought, I know she's not like that I know she's not controlling, & I know she'd never lay a finger on me, but now I think she's never gonna get back with me, she keeps telling me she doesn't wanna be in a relationship, she said she wanted to start over, as in back when we didn't know each other, I honestly can't lose her, she means the world to me & I love her with al my heart, can someone please tell me what to do, it's my moms fault , she shouldn't have been snooping cause it's not what she thinks it is, my girlfriend doesn't mean any harm to me, she isn't controlling or anything, please tell me how to get my baby back.. I can't live without her please help!!!!

Your mom is only trying to protect her baby but I agree she shouldn't be acting that way. You're girlfriend may not be thinking straight as you said she is having a horrible week. Tell her how much she means to you. Maybe you should ask one of her friends try to talk to her so she will want to talk to you again so you can explain. She is probably having self esteem issues since she is hurt but your mom's opinion but that means that she cares about you a great deal if your mom's opinion effects her so much. She doesn't want the mother of someone she cares for to think so badly about her. I really hope this helped and I really hope you two can work this out in a positive way.
