im 13 and my 'period' started and couple days ago it was a brownish stain. It was my first period and yesterday I had a bit of blood so I used pads. Now today there's basically nothing there just a bit of discharge and a little bit of a brownish reddish stain. It also smells!? What do I do, have I started??
It depends, the same situation happened with me and more blood started appearing as each day went by when I first started mine when I was 11. Brown discharge is normal and can refer to old blood. I also didn't start my next period 3 months after my first one, I do think you have started your period as it could be confusing at first but its normal.
