I know a close friend that has used meth repeatedly. She was on it for a few months straight of almost constant use then just stopped. It didnt seem to affect her at all (except for some much needed weight gain). She wasnt any different emotionally, she didnt relaps or crave it.... its been 3 1/2 months and she hasnt had any sort of craving or relaps. She asked me if this was normal and honestly I didnt think it was so here I am.... Please help me? Why does she seem to be immune to what many of her friends cannot escape?

None taken. I appreciate the feedback, I know she's doing it. But how much is too much? Is there really any method that works to figure that out? I'm glad that she's not heavy heavy into it. I just want to keep her safe, but don't all friends. How often do you have to do the drug to get addicted? I know there were two months straight where she did it every day... but I'm assuming that it has to be more. I heard if you are doing it once every 4 hrs and feel compelled to that your addicted. I'm confused and clueless... I appreciate your response greatly! Thanks Denver17 for your timely request! God Bless

Maybe at the beginning she might have taken sleeping meds.... ill have to ask. Seems likely she slept a lot when she first stopped but it only lasted a few days (4 tops) she has confided in me and is confused why her friends are having a hard time when she did not.

I've seen her both smoke and snort it. She started of snorting it, a line lasted her a long time. But maybe into month two she started smoking which she had to do more regularly it seemed. Most if not all of the first month she only snorted it.

Well when your coming off meth you do fall asleep for a long time. when i came of i woke up in the hospital and withdrawal was over they didnt drug me or anything, they just let me sleep it off. withdrawal on meth only lasts 2-5 days anyway after that your ok but during it its hell.
