I need advice, since I am not getting it from my doctor. I had a cold 3 months ago and I am all right now, but I still cough and feel mystery throat ailment. Doctor has no idea what this is and just doing these stupid test, that show nothing and are always negative. I do not know what to do anymore.

I would change a doctor or ask for second opinion. You have that right, you know. Besides, you could ask for a throat specialist. When I was younger, I had similar problems. After a flue, I felt pain in my throat and couldn’t heal cough. Honey helps. Try it. You eat daily up to 5 spoons and after a few days, I think you should be all right.

I have a similar problem and they say mine is caused by my acid reflux.
One doc called it laryngal reflux. Says it is irriatating my throat and vocal cords. But I don't know if this is true because I have had acid reflux for years and never had these symptoms until after my tonsillectomy.
