I currently have an outbreak of herpes, or a cold sore - whatever you prefer to call it. It is unpleasant by any name, and looks horrible too, so of course I want to get rid of my herpes as soon as possible. I would be grateful for any suggestions that members of this forum might have for me!
Some people claim that putting toothpaste onto the spot of the cold sore is a great way to cure it. I tried it once and it did not do much for me, but I am sure it does dry the cold sore out eventually. If you haven't got anything else around and you want to be proactive, try it. If not, run to the store and get zovirax.
