Hi, I had a cortison injection in my right shoulder a week ago. Never again I was in agony with the pain going down my arm to my fingers, felt like nerve pain. Also very nauseated . The pain was better next day but the nauseau is there every day especially in the mornings and as you said like morning sicikness. The nausea seems to be better in the evening. Called the doctor but they never got back to me. I just do not feel well. Also wondering how long this will last. Will never take a cortisone shot again.
I am having really BAD reflux also started 5 days after injection. I take prilosec daliy fir 10 yrs now, but it is not working right now ,so Doctors gave me Ondansetron for nausea.and it Helps!!!!!!
I am researching the side effects because I had a cortisone shot in my shoulder a week ago and have been nauseous and have a constant dull headache, dizziness, and just feel like c**p. I hope this passes. Its very hard to function.
I had a steroid epidural for a bulging disc in low back 3 days ago. That night in the night, I began vomiting for 12 hours, could not even keep a sip of water down. I can't sleep. My brain won't calm down, and feel very nauseated. My low back is beginning to feel better after being in severe pain for about 9 months. I am wanting to know how long these steroids stay in my system. I hate this!!!

I got a cortisone shot in the knee over a week ago, now nausea won't go away. It wakes me up at night with bile and I strangle. Is this normal? I have myasthenia gravis and I am allergic to sulfa and shingles vaccine.
Can't you just tell them no and ask for surgery since that a hella lot of shots to not even work! If it isn't working they need to quit slamming your body with steroids!
