I had c7 disc repaced and fusion in 2010 I started having never pain down both arms 2 month ago thinking it was a pinched nerve i went to doctor. Had Mri and went to Nero surgeon and he said i have nerve damage from surgery and arthitis and bone spurs. the pain is in arms and legs. they put me on gabapentin and pain pill it is not helping alot. He said surgery would not help. This is something i have to live with. it is really depressing i have pain most all the day now. they are doubleing my medicine and my sister has MS and i take more than her. It also has caused problems with legs i can not walk a block with out sitting down. I didn't know 2 years later i would be so bad. it is hard to deal with i am depressed on medicine for that too. On top of everything my low back has disc problems and i have to have a Mri tuesday. I am only 46 and have two kids at home. I feel so guilty that they have to do all the housework i am so useless now. They are going to get me a nero stemulator hope it helps with pain and some kind of cream to use. Has anyone else had these kind of Problems? What has helped you? thanks for feedback.
