2003 I had a total hip replacement,I've had a gradual loss of feeling starting from my left foot,THR-to now it's in my good leg ,starting in the foot..numbness-tingling-shooting pain-etc./lower back pain and unable to curl my toes,I trip alot so I am probaly experiencing drop foot..it's never got any better.
My regular doctor has never suggested a specialist or any nerve medications,other than Methodone and Hydrocoden(Vicoden)
I've read up on both Neurontin
Lyrica..the later being the best for me,I guess I'm going to have too hand this info over to my MD...Are their any other medications for this and I was xrayed and diagnosed with a bone spur..my md has not suggested surgery or seeing a specialist..he seems too think surgery is not a option ,maybe because I'm not insured..this has been going on for several years..his relunctance to weaning me off these narcotics and solve this problem is really concerning me,I'm told I need a referrel from him to go on,I'm sorry if this seems to be composed in a fog,well actually it is.
