Ive been on the pill for about 6 years. Recently Lo-Ovral was recalled so I got switched to Othro Novum. The firstt month, I got my period as scheduled but it was VERY heavy and painful. I began the 2nd month pack. I started spotting on week 2 of that 2nd month pack. I spotted for about two weeks...then stopped (i should have had a period at this time) but the period never came. I am a week late now on getting my actual period. I just started the 3rd month pack yesterday. I have recently been under stress, was on antibiotics, prednisone, and sick. I am still on the prednisone. Could i be pregnant? Is my period timing and schedule of birth control pills going to be out of wack since i missed my period?
