I have been on the pill on and off for about 8 years... Currently, on it for 1.5 years. I was a week into my new pack of pills and after I had sex with my boyfriend I had spotted for about 2 days. I have cramps and PMS and very emotional this week along with stress. BUT I have noticed over the course of the years on the pill (starting a new pack Sundays) that when I first started taking it, my period would come by Monday (last pill Sat.) now my last pill is still Saturday and it won't start until Tues/Wed.. sometimes even Thursday. It is Friday of my off week and I still haven't started. I know the doctor is closed over the weekend, which is when I would start my new pack. Do I start my new pack without consulting a doctor? Take a pregnancy test? Or just get off the pill completely? Any advice or examples would be so helpful!! Thank you so much!
