Im 33 years old and have hardly ever had any vaginal odor issues. I typically have the same wash routine of washing the outer and inner labia area with warm water and diluted soapy water. Occasionally, I will douche with vinegar and water (maybe 2 or 3 times a year). I know what my "normal" smell and taste is and so does my man of umpteen years who enjoys giving me oral sex regularly. I feel like I should have left my routine as is...since now my vagina is not acting normal after trying a scented Norform for the 1st time. I wanted to try it because I heard good things and I was concerned I might taste saltier than usual since my diet hasn't been as healthy this past month or 2. Honestly when I tried it I was apprehensive and cut it in half and only used half of it in hopes that if I didnt like it, it wounldn't be so difficult to wash away to prevent a lasting effect. I tasted the norform and immediately hated the taste and was concerned my man wouldnt like it either. I did feel some itching when it was in me so after I showered I rinsed my vagina again with warm water to rid it of the trace medicine like after taste. I had sex and received oral and my man didnt say anything about me tasting different but I KNOW he noticed a difference in how I tasted because I noticed. Mind you he is a man that likes and can handle a womans natural clean scent. A few days later I noticed traces of discharge that is brownish in color and watery-pasty like in consistancy. My vagina also carries very mild odor that I normally dont have yet its not offensive and slightly smells like that norform, but my clitorial area is smelling a bit fishy which my natural ordor doesnt ever smell fishy. I taste tested myself and was shocked that I tasted like the norform with a very displeasing medicine taste. Should I be worried or will this work itself out on its own? What could this be? Do you think I should douche or call my DR? For now Im washing with only water and planned to see how my vagina is aftery period comes in 12 days...is that not a good idea? Also I hope you arent totally grossed out by my tasting myself...hell Im grown and always want to be informed about mine and my mans body. Im not having any type of sex until Im back to normal.
