Ok so a littel over a month ago I go to the doctor to get a papsmear done. He tells me I have Bacterial Vaginosis ad give me some pills. They made my stomache HURT REAL BAD. And I have diarhea and mucus and blood in my stools. It stopped being so bad about a week after I stop taking the pills. Now my bowel movements are narrower and I feel constipated. They smell bad and its very hard to use the bathroom. And for the past month I have also been having irregular/rpid heart beats. One night it got so bad I was rushed to the hospital. They said I took too much cold medicine and sent me home. Bull c**p. My heart still keeps beating irregulary and I have NOT had any cold medicine or alcohol or any drugs. Then my papsmear comes back abnormal. I was told that me and my boyfriend had somehow contracted chlamydia, but we both went got treatment. we havent had sex since the two weeks ago we got treatment either. And Then I was on my period last week. I had just started a new Birth Control pill. I have't missed one. But My my period was normal and slowed down and almost stopped after 4 days like normal, but then I woke up and was bleeding heavily again and have had large blood clots several times a day. THis has been going on for a total of 8 days. I've also been light headed and canm't think clearly and am always cold. I do not have health insurance and jsut want to know what could possibly be wrong and if i need to go to a low budget health clinic or just a regular doctor. What the heck is going on?
It sounds like to me that you still have symptoms of infection - the cold feeling, the nausea! And it also sounds like you hat a VERY common reaction to the antibiotics! An infection can definitely make your heart beat faster and skip beats, and you can have ALL the same symptoms as what you are experiencing! So go back to the clinic tell them what happened after the last round and have them give you a new course of antibiotics! Also just know that with the 3 types you WILL get a yeast infection - so eat Yogurt - with Acidopholus! And get a 7 day pack of yeast infection kits! The clots will also be part of your light headness! When you are at the clinic - or even if you go to a local pharmacy have your blood pressure checked! And also know that many new BCP's can make you have wonky periods for the first 3 months - untill your body gets used to them! Please let me know how you make out! In the mean time start taking the yogurt and cut out the caffeine, alcohol, and any cold medicine - these DEFINITELY can cause irregular heart beats! And also get a good nights sleep! And use protection when having sex - ALWAYS use a condom OK?
