I have had my mirena for over 4 yrs now...it was great for the first couple of years.No periods or side effects but my husband said he was getting poked at first.My Dr did not tell me to check for the string,so I haven't felt of it at all..not sure where it is now!.Here lately have been getting back aches & having stomach pain during sex, & now last couple of days having spotting! Now I have no insurance & need to see a Dr. but is this normal??
