About a week ago, I slipped getting out of bed, hitting my head on my dresser (I live in a college dorm and my bed is lofted about five feet off the ground). I only hurt for a minute or so, and I went back to bed (as the alarm had been for my roommate). This evening, I have been feeling a dull painful pressure and the base of my skull. Should I have this checked out? Or am I worrying for nothing? It was over a week ago, I didn't lose conscienceness, and I remember everything clearly. In fact, the headache has gone away over the course of the evening; but I am still worried. Any comments would be appreciated.
I am unsure how to handle this scenerio, here is a list of sites from webmd you should listen to

Hi there,
This can mean several things. First this can indicate that you might have had a concussion and that you had a more serious fall. I think that these things should not be ignored and that you should probably see your doctor about this in order to do some tests at the hospital. Have you noticed if you have any problems with your vision? In some cases vision can be affected as well. Did you use any pain killers for the headache? You could try to rest more but I think that you need a head scan. I hope that this helped in any way.

Best wishes,
Marco
