Sorry in advance for the length of this.
Hello, I am a 16 year old female and for the past 3 months i have been in a significant amount of abdominal pain. Let me start by saying i have had stomach problems for as long as i can remember. As a younger child i had frequent stomach aches and alternating diarrhea and constipation. This has always bothered me, but it has always been tolerable. Other than the stomach trouble i have always been a healthy person. Over the last three to four months i have lost about 23 pounds unintentionally. I completely lost my appetite and became very weak. I was also extremely dizzy. I went into the emergency room and they couldn't find anything wrong with me besides severe dehydration from not drinking much. They gave me a few iv bags of fluid and sent me on my way. Later that week i was back in the E.R. They found that my appendix was surrounded by fluid on a CT scan so i was taken into surgery to have that removed. After the surgery the doctor's informed me that my appendix looked fine when they took it out and they were unsure why it appeared abnormal on the CT. I was in the hospital for 5 days after the surgery, even though most people are able to leave the day after. I wasn't able to keep any food down, and i couldn't walk without the assistance of two people on both sides of me. Nothing had been abnormal in my blood work up until then, i had elevated liver enzymes. The doctor thought it was probably due to all of the pain medicine i was on at the time. I was released from the hospital with an ultrasound scheduled for a week later to check my liver and gallbladder (because of the elevated liver enzymes). However, three days later i woke up early in the morning in excruciating pain. My stomach was severely bloated and i was vomiting green bile. My mom rushed me back to the E.R. and they ended up doing the ultrasound that day. They found that i had gall stones. The doctors we're rather perplexed because i was not the typical candidate for gall stones, being as young and otherwise healthy as i am. They concluded that the gall stones we're from the rapid weight loss, but they were unsure of what caused the weight loss. Just two weeks after i had my appendix out i had my gall bladder out. Removing the gallbladder did resolve the acute upper left pain i was experiencing, but i still have a lot of non-specific pain in my abdomen. The Pediatric G.I. doctor took a look at the old cat scan that showed the abnormal appendix, and thought there was a possible region of colitis or crohn's disease. I had a specialized MRI that ruled out any IBD. On the MRI they did find ovarian cysts, and i was referred to an OBGYN who thinks the cysts are normal, and not causing me any trouble. I have an ultrasound scheduled just to be sure though. One other thing they found on my blood work was an overload of iron, i saw a hematologist to rule out hemochromatosis.
anyways, i'm still in so much pain that i can not attend school..the doctors seem to have no idea what is going on so i decided to write this.
My current symptoms-
hardly any appetite
burning pain in abdomen
fullness after eating
bloating
severe GERD
problems emptying bladder (i'm peeing very infrequently)
severe fatigue (extremely tired after 12 hours of sleep)
joint and bone pain (i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia)
headaches
i often wake up sweating during the night
irregular menstrual cycle
Overall feeling of weakness.
I feel like i'm at my wits end, i want to find out what is wrong with me and get back to my normal life. If anyone has experienced anything similar or has any idea as to what could be going on with me, please reply..i would really appreciate it.

Hello I'm currently experiencing something similar. But instead the pain is not so bad I just burp and go to the bathroom a few times, and I've felt shortness of breath and weakness.and when I use the bathroom I pee a while after I already peed. Did you get any answers ? I'm going to the hospital today and am scared to death.
