It could be the brand. maybe you used a really sensitive one before. I would go to the doctors to see what is going on. There is a possibilty that you could be pregnant

I had the same thing. I havent gotten any answers yet. I had my last period Dec 26th, it only lasted 3 days. then on the 25th of jan i had the light pink spotting almost watery and the next day had dark brown string discharge but only once. I took a test and it came out neg. i took it at 12 am though...and read the package directions and says to wait a couple days and then take again in the morning and i waited about 2 days and took it at 10 am and it was positive. i got really excited and scheduled an apt with my doctor. now its been about 2 weeks since i took that test so then today i was thinking about it and got all excited and took the last preg test just to see the "yes" again for my own excitement and got a neg. but im still getting symptoms. i called my new OBGYN and her nurse called me back and said its probably an early miscarriage sorry for the loss...and wouldnt even have me come in to do any tests since i was a prior patient of hers. so i called my original OBGYN and she said to come in a get a blood test to get an accurate result and couldnt believe the other doctor told me it was probably a miscarriage when there werent any signs or symptoms of one. so i have an appointment Monday to find out for sure, but in the mean time i've been doing some research online and i found quite a few sites that said that the HCG levels can vary day to day in first trimester so it possible wasnt detected correctly today. let me know if you find out anything...

? my issue is very similiar!!!! A couple of days ago i took a pregnancy test because my period was a few days late and it tested POSITIVE. A couple of mintues ago i took another one and it tested negative but still no period. My breast are sore and i feel sharp pains in my stomach. I'm i still pregnant??????????????

I took a home pregnancy test 4 days ago that seemed to be positive (very faint line) then today I took another I have nothing. My last period ended on the 16th of February and I have had no bleeding at all since then and I 'feel' pregnant but I am not sure as this would be our first baby. I have not been for a blood test yet but I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me about this.

Im in the same boat. Its so frustrating. I took a home PT test in the morning it said negative, but later that day i took two more, and both were positive with really visible lines. So i made an appointment with my doctor today and that on came back negative. Still i feel crampy and different so i took another one and iit was positive. How does that happen an hour later? It just doesnt make sense. It would be my first pregnancy, and im cramping, bloated, breasts are a little tender, and the last time i got anything similar to my period was 9/8. I have a hormone imbalance so i dont get my period but everyonce in a while. Im so lost and I just need to know!

I took a test on Thanksgiving and got a faint line. Then i took 2 more that night and they were all faint too. Then I took a couple more then they negative and now all im seeing is negative. 4 days before my expected period I started having orange discharge and my back was shooting sharp pains. I went to the clinic and they gave me a urine and a blood test which showed negative but positive for a UTI. I started the med's for UTI the next day and I had a black blood susbtance for one day then I was just spotting again. However, I have been nusea throughout the days since and my back is still in pain... what is wrong with me.

I'm in a similar situation...Last month I pretty much bleed very very lightly the whole month while I was very tired and had very sore heavy breasts. The bleeding continued as very dark brown into the first week and a half of this month. I have had slight cramping and my whole abdomen feels kinda tight(not sure how else to describe it). I have taken 5 hpt's all first response brand, 1st very faint pos with 1st morning urine, 2nd darker pos with not morning urine, 3rd very faint pos with 1st morning urine, 4th super faint pos not morning urine, 5th neg with 1st urine...but I am still exhausted no matter how much sleep I get, and I kinda just feel different and well kinda blah...I have not been to the doctor, although I have started a prenatal with folic acid just in case. Could I still be pregnant?

the same thing happened to me! i took two pregnancy tests, one around 5pm and it was negative, then about an hour later it was positive, everyone told me not to go by that becausr after the ten minutes its not accurate. so i ignored it and took another one the next morning as soon as i woke up. this one showed up positive right away. it was a really light positive, but it was there. i waited a few days until i had money to get two more tests, then they both showed up negative. i have no clue what this means, but im 16 and i really need to figure it out.

My periods seem to be right on schedule but I just felt off. So I went to the doctors and guess what, I am pregnant! Once you get to about the 11 week mark your HCG levels drop off a bit giving a negative urine sample on home tests. Go see your doctors, I bet some of you are just further along then you think. ;) Good luck! let me know what happens.

I'm so confused and in the same boat as most of you here. I have been feeling very "pregnant" lately. I have a lot of the
symptoms, but I also know that when I got pregnant before at 18
(I'm 35 now), not one pregnancy test showed that I was pregnant. Until I
started having some sharp pains in my stomach, I went to ER and found
out that i was over 2 months pregnant already. I didn't have a child
then, but I'm now in a beautiful relationship and even though we haven't
been trying, I think I am now pregnant. I'm normally very fit, all over sudden, I gained almost 10
pounds and I've been eating well and exercising, but I keep on putting
on weight. My stomach from the belly button down is very bloated and
feels very tight. I cannot stop eating at night and throughout the day. I'm also very emotional. I tried working out this week and every time I
try to run, I get these cramps, dull pain in my lower abdomen and I get
very lightheaded. Also, I never sweat before, now I sweat buckets. I
cannot sleep at night, laying there wide awake and when I fall asleep,
finally, I have these vivid dreams. My period hasn't been regular for
years, so it cannot act as a barometer. I took a pregnancy test about
a week ago or so, with blue dye, and got a very very faint line. I
took that test at night. Then I went out and got a pink test, 2 of them,
both were negative the next morning. Then I started spotting (brown),
which turned into a heavy, lumpy dark red bleeding. It lasted for about 2
days. Now it stopped, so I waited one day and decided to test again with blue dye (another brand),
and I got a VERY faint line almost immediately, I can see it. I went and got two more pink dyes and both came out negative. So what's up with that??? I think I will go to the doctor on Monday to do a blood test. These tests are just driving me nuts. ?

I know this thread is really old but I'm very curious, I had unprotected sex on the 17th of March, then on the 24th of March I started bleeding, I did feel sick the first day I started bleeding no cramps or anything I just felt sick, it lasted for seven days, it was like a normal period to me no clots though and it wasnt heavy I used like a pad each day. Then I just suspected I was pregnant I just felt it, but I thought I had a miscarriage or something when I started bleeding on the 24th of March. Then on April 23 I started bleeding again for I know this thread is really old but I'm very curious, I had unprotected sex on the 17th of March, on the 24th of march I started bleeding, I did feel sick the first day I started bleeding no cramps or anything I just felt sick, it lasted for seven days, it was like a normal period to me no clots though and it wasnt heavy I used like a pad each day. On the 26th of April I took a pregnancy test, came out faintly positive, five days later May 1st took another one came back negative(same brand test). I still feel pregnant though, I'm still really tired, I've been bloated n gassy a lot, increase appetite, increase sense of smell, constipation. Below my belly button is sooorta starting to fill out? I don't know if that's normal. I have already had a miscarriage at 5.5 weeks last year, I would hate to know I've had another one PLEASE HELP!!!
