try talking to his close friends and family and see if he told them something he wants. u can also get him something that he loves like football tickets or clothes or things that represent what he likes. or jewelry everybody like jewelry.

i m also a guy....i think that totally depends on his interest...u can give him a cool t-shirt, perfumes, wrist watch or whatever u think he would like...

I take that back! The first year anniversary is always paper... so get him a pack of that super soft toilet paper or something... He'll probably love that too!

My girlfriend and I will have been together 1 year in November. Since the official material for a 1 year anniversary is paper I'm ordering her a personalized cartoon portrait. They include references to whatever hobbies etc a person has and it'll be truly memorable :-)

Forget this paper business. If he likes sports, get him season tickets or a nice 4 day weekend getaway at some ball games. Baseball is just around the corner for the regular season. :) Then on those weekend nights, have some intimate moments and make the sex special if you are having sex.
