I need some help. My girl was giving me oral sex when she accidentally bit the tip of my penis giving me a small injury in the end of my urethra. We have both been tested for all STDs and neither of us have had different partners for the last four years. To make matters worse I was laid off for two months so my health insurance has run out for at least a month. So an expensive doctor visit and treatment are out of the question. I do have some antibiotics on hand though. I have 30 500mg amoxicillin, 16 500mg Cephalexin, and 2 Augmentin 875-125mg. Sorry ahead of time if I'm not supposed to ask for dosing help.

Hi,

How bad was the injury? A small bite shouldn't be a problem.

If it looks like it is healing OK then you probably don't need the antibiotics. If you notice any signs of infection, then you're going to have to see a doctor.

Don't even try to guess at the doseage of the antibiotics.

Believe it or not your body can heal itself without any pills.

Post back and let us know what is going on.

the injury was bad enough to get infected. i'm having a little discharge so i'm assuming it's infected. if it's infected then i don't think it's healing very well. i guess i have to go see a doctor, especially since i don't want anything to happen to my little buddy. thanks for the help. if anyone else has another opinion please don't hesitate to let me know. I would like to know a little about what might be wrong with me. if i find out first though i'll let everyone know.

Hi,

If you're seeing discharge then yes, you should see a doctor, and it does sound infected. Please, no sex until you get things checked out. I'm not saying it's an STD, but you don't want to spread this to your partner.

Some antibiotics work better in specific situations. You could let your doctor know what you have and then see what he says about it. The other issue is that if you don't take the complete and proper dosage then you may not cure the infection and may make it more resistant to treatment.

Hope that helps. Good luck.
