Ah this smells! I am 17 and i have a nasty nasty case of osgood schlatters in the left knee. it became apparent when i was about 13 and we went to the doctors and he went "oohh yes it will go in a few years when you stop growing" but it hasn't! and i doubt it ever will, my Dad is in his 40's and his never grew out.
its starting to get annoying in the last year and a half, i can constantly feel the swelling, I cant get a knee support because i need my muscles around the knee to be as strong as possible and having a support would stop their growth.
and I keep falling down the stairs :-( we have steep stairs, I went down them twice this week alone!
so anyway, are there any other people out there in their adult years who still have the dodgy knees? where it never grew out? does it feel just the same? did it improove with age? any tricks to stop me flailing down the staircase?? haha
thanks, any input is appreciated!
