Take a digestive enzyme before eating every meal see if that helps, if not see a ears, nose, throat Dr for LPR relux

I'm on Protonic 40 mg daily. I have trouble eating and drinking anything. I eat a bite and I puke.
I can drink water and cold fluids but I gag on warm ones, is this just my fear of being burned or is it a medical reason. Please help
I had gastric bypass 4 months ago everything is fine 28th the surgery BUT 1 month after I could no longer eat at all The smells are aweful and I gag can't get anything down at all. Well that was 3 months ago I am now getting Fed with picc line. I was taking gabapentin before my surgery after they told me to stop I wonder if related?
I have this same problem but im only 15. It's getting worse. It's been happening since I was 11. The doctors gave me something very similar to pepcid and it made me feel nauseous everytime I took it. I'm not sure if I didn't take it long enough for results but I can be walking down the halls in school, smell food and the thought of eating males me gage. I am currently 97 pounds and 5'3. I don't know what the problem is but it's becoming a big issue. I go off with my boyfriend and I don't eat a lot because I will start gaging. I've threw up once because of this issue. The doctors said it's acid reflux, but my mom has it and she said her simptoms are different. I have no idea what's going on. It could be stress, but all the time? I don't know if that's accurate.

I a 76-year-old woman who has had this issue my whole life....according to my mom I was unable to drink water as an infant as well... Very rarely I will get the gag reflex when I eat something, but never when drinking other fluids. Gave up on trying to sort it out a long time ago - now I just avoid drinking water which is kind of rough on extremely hot days....
