It is suggested that individuals take 10 to 15 grams of fiber for every 1000 calories. If preparing for physique contest, you should add some. The same is with age, the fiber intake should be increased, because energy requirements decline in older individuals. On the other hand, there is no recommended allowance for fiber diet. Fiber is very important for physique contest, but do not exaggerate with it.
