i have severe low back pain, and I cant afford Roxicodone anymore. Is Methadone a good replacement? ?
I have the same problem. I was convinced by my doctor to go on methadone because the so called specialists can't fix my back. It's been 8 days of pure hell getting off and still counting. If you don't have a family, a job, or you've lost all your friends go for it. If you aren't on disability you might as well start the paperwork now because methadone is going to steal everything you've got. Read the side effects and what others are saying. If I had come here first I would never have taken that garbage to begin with. I'll take the pain over methadone. Good Luck.

I'm sorry to hear that going on methadone was so hard on you but good luck--I know that you can do it and you'll be able to handle the challenge. Can you let us know how it goes? I'd like to hear how you feel. Thanks!

it wasn't until i went to a sleep apnia clinic after a 3 month wait that i was told the reason i had no energy and was passing out at intersections behind the wheel was one of the many side effects of methadone. I was hammering my doctor trying to find out what was wrong and he was worthless. I started seeing a therapist for panic attacks, sleeping pills for insomnia, a heart attack ect.

I started tappering off methadone and all the c**p went away. What a waste of time and money.

Still looking for that magic formula that will get me through this. It's been 10days of hell and counting. The only reason i keep going is i know i can't go back. this is my one and only shot.

tks for the support. i'm running on faith now.

Hey, when faith is all you have, that's the best weapon you've got to beat this aside from your own will and self discipline. HOw are you doing today?
