Same problem, two different doctors have diagnosed as (Can't remember the word) Basically, an infection, got anti-biotics, and it cleared up for a few months, and then came on stronger than ever. Same thing with my recent doctor. Sent me in for Ultra sound, and found slight fluid... but the doctor said it wasn't enough to worry.... Well I hope some1 finds out, this pain is bad. What about the actual testicle, do you notice pain when it will come up more into your body, rather than hanging?

Hello,
This is sort of a generic response to all of the posts but is helpful to the original post. Many of you describe similar symptoms. This is a list of some of the things this could be. My advice, go to a doctor!!! If it is epididymitis or orchitis it is easily treatable. If it is an inguinal hernia it is curable via a quick and easy operation. If these symptoms came on suddenly after not being present before, you should go to the Emergency Room immediately as you may have testicular torsion. Otherwise, here's the list.
Epididymitis
Orchitis
Prostatitis
Varicocele
Inguinal Hernia
Kidney Stone (this can radiate pain to the testicle, scrotum, grown)
Urinary Tract Infection
Testicular Cancer (more likely if you feel a bump or lump, but let the doc check cause he's better at it)

There are undoubtedly many others that I can't think of, this is why we have urologists!
Go to a doctor!

Hi I read a few more posts and wanted to mention something.
Many of you are describing different things.
Those of you whos pain is related to working out, squatting, and other physical stuff-- you may have an inguinal hernia.
For the creatinine guy, it's not the creatinine but the weights, to check for this, look online for inguinal canal and find where it is. Stand up, put your finger in it (way up there) and strain like you are having a bowel movement. If you feel something bulge down and hit your finger, vuala- inguinal hernia. Don't worry though, a very common surgery can be done to fix it if you don't want it bothering you. If you don't have insurance then it might be a tad on the expensive side- but it's the only way to fix it if that is indeed what you have. If you are sure that you notice a bulge go to a general surgeon and save the copay on the family medicine appointment. If you are not sure have your regular doc check it out.
Peace,
Matt

I had a dull ache/discomfort in my left testicle and i think it was also from a groin strain. It went away after 2 days, and every day the pain decreased. My hip was also hurting and the inside of my thigh. (left)

18 Male here I was working out a lot 6 days a week lots of cardio bag work running and what not I was fine for about 4 months I stopped for about month and a bit and last week I worked out at home just did some bag work push ups crunches and what not and I started feeling the pain in my left testicle I didn't think much of it so I left it and it went away by the next day.

I decided to go for a run today about a week later and the run I didn't feel like it hurt did some bag all was good when I walked inside and sat down I started to feel the pain again in my left testicle, Now I read most of the pages and few said because you need to stretch before working out or back problems, Yes I didn't stretch before my work outs and I do have back problems.

I guess it could just be that? That I had a long break from working out and didn't stretch properly and just sitting on my computer chair to much lately, I will stretch out more before work outs and will be working out every day again so I will get back to you guys and see how it goes.

Hopefully the pain goes away because It will get very annoying to have pain after every work out.

The Solution to the problem is stretching. It worked for me. I started having this problem when I was young, perhaps 15 years old. A friend told me to stretch before playing ball and other excersizes and it worked great. Still happens every so often (20 years later) but the stetching really takes care of the problem. The stretch is done as follows: Sit on the floor and put the bottoms of your feet flat together. Pull your feet towards your body. You will feel the stretch in your hamstrings and groin. It may be hard on your back , if you are older. Stretch each day and definetly before any excersize. Hope it helps.

ive got these lumps on my both sides of abdomen right beside the hip bone....im afraid its a inguinal hernia but not sure....i also feel a bit of pain in my right testicle(sometimes)....i felt this after my workout and i think thats the reason because i was lifting pretty heavy weights ...i went to the doctor and he checked me and felt my testis and everything and he said that i just pulled the groin....and i was quite happy...but the other day i felt even worse....my testicle startdet to feel uncomforatable  ....its all good when i walk but when im sitting then i feel not so conforatable ...i dont have any pee problems....its all good.I dont really believe my doctor that i just pulled the groin, because if i did i would have just lump on one side not both.....does anyone know what is this?!i really need to know...im only 15 i want to go back to my workout and feel free to have fun and run, swim ....etc.....help  :(

check out for hamstring strains i had the same thought my right testicle was throbbing but it was my hamstring that was strained right at the top where it joins with the hip. Fine when walking or exercising then throbbed all night. Rest and pain killers for a week seems to be getting better? The doctor located it when examining my balls and groin put his finger on it and it hurt like hell!

I had this same problem about five years ago. My urologist performed an exam and found a cyst. After a month of tests and waiting, everything came back fine. His treatment? Wear a jockstrap... it sounds insane but trust me. It works. After the first few hours the pain goes away and after a few weeks you can go back to your usual. I still get the pain occasionally after a strenuous workout or a long bike ride, but so far every time the strap works.

I have the same problem. Ask for ant-inflammatory medicine from your doctor, helps a lot. The doc said i had gotten a hernia from not stretching when i went hiking. The pain was unberable in my left testicle almost like it was on fire. No lumps or anything was found sonogram came up negative. So it must be the hernia pushing down against the groin causing the testicle to hurt. today is the second day i feel a lot better. I recommend getting anti inflammatory medicine, it he lped me deeply. I still need to get this hernia removed tho but atleasts its bearable now.

Well, I felt the same thing. Went and got blood work and urine sample and an x-ray. Everything came back normal. I dunno what this is, it had been off and on for years maybe hurting like an hour out of one day for two or three months. However, this past week a tornado hit where I live and destroyed it and so I was helping by lifting and moving heavy objects. Then while doing that my grandmother was forced to move her store and she has way heavier stuff. It wasn't hurting the week before, it's fine while walking and when I sit it's kinda uncomfortable. IT SUCKS! Doctor said he didn't know. If we stumbled on something new, we should be the ones to name it lol. If we are stuck with it for life, if there isn't one already. Lol
