Yeah, if I was feeling that way I would probably be pretty anxious myself, so don't let it get to you. I think that you should probably go to the doctor to get it checked out--it sounds to me like you may have a sore throat or allergies and either way the visit will help. What do you think?

Well, I hate to say it, but whatever you did with the meth, there could have been some other stuff in there that messed with your sense of taste. I know you might be scared to go to a doctor and talk to them about it but it's a good idea to talk to a doctor about it and make sure ou didn't do permanent damage to yourself. Can you do that?

Hello to all. I've been having a similar problem for the past week now. I have a feeling of something stuck in my throat and now I'm getting occasional pain in my upper right back. The funny thing is, when I wake up in the morning, I feel fine. As the day progresses, I begin to feel that "lump". I don't feel it or any pain when I eat or drink but right after or a few minutes after I still feel that "lump" feeling and sometimes some light pain in my neck. I'm not sure if this is stress related. I have had stress and anxiety issues in the past as well which has caused palpatations to the point that I had to rush to the emergency room on two occasions. Despite that, I have never had this problem of the "lump in throat" until recently. My recent stress is attributed to me losing two jobs in the last year and a half after one company closing down and the other relocating all operations to a foreign country to cut cost. Since then I have been stressing like hell because I haven't gotten a new job, bills are piling up and I have been sending out numerous resumes. I also have other health issues that I'm a bit worried about. I'm not sure if this is the cause or if there's a real problem with my throat. I've been having issues with acid reflux lately as well which I think my be a cause of my stress as well. I'm a mess...lol...but seriously, I'm going to make an appointment to see the doctor soon but I was hoping someone might have any info to help me. I've read what has been posted already and I am taking everything into consideration. Thanks and my blessings go out to you all.

Hello,

I have woken up this morning with the exact same symptons, it is driving me nuts and is becoming very painful! Would you reccomend seeing a Doctor or is it pointless & is there anything to stop the pain?

I too started having the same lump in the throat feeling earlier this year. I went to my GP who after a clean ultrasound of my throat referred me to an ENT. The ENT had me undergo an x-ray of my throat which basically led him to diagnose me with GORD. I however think it's infact a food allergy and that rather than it being a lump, my throat becomes swollen and therefore much more sensitive to the lumps and bumps of the throat. I currently think I am allergic to rice, but not sure if this is all.

Hope this helps you.

Cheers

Hi.  I have the same feeling in my back and throat and I have it when I eat bread and I have now tested it and when I dont eat bread at all I have no reaction.  I can eat bread once or twice without having a reaction but the next time I eat I will have the feeling in my throat and then I will get the pain in my back and it is very painfull.  So I dont know if it helps at all.

When I got this problem I freaked out! Though I was choking. But thin just calmed my self down (seemed to be the best remedy and it is)

Tips to calm down and relax:
Funny youtube videos
stuff you enjoy

After that I precede to do the following and it actually worked:

I took two fingers and rubbed in a circle motion where the pain was. (I rubbed on the Adams apple)

Eventually the pain went away.

What caused this pain I do not know, but it happened in seconds right after I stressed out about something important to me.

lost other page.It is all cause by stress. In Christ we have no fear, because we are under the shadow of the OMighty. If you are save in Jesus ,then you are healed by his tripes. And God gave us all kinds of herbs to heal us.Olive leaf for one,n-tense for another.I have been useing 150mg of puriten pride olive leaf plus useing liguid n-stence tropical care on the swelling it cut it by half and took the lump out.I have used plain old pencillian 500mg ever six hours.this was on a stubern ear.the swelling went down.My dad would say these things are sent to try us,he never told me how many.So is it withe life .i some times feel this is boot camp down here. But our faith will see us thru.Have a wonderful day find something good in it and lach on on to it.May God bless

I am not a doctor but i have experience this severe pains at the back of my throat for some days too. When it first happened.I thought i have swallowed something but the pains was intense every morning. It comes down when i take pain killers. It all began after i have finish treating my fever.I went online to look for more idea and learnt that if the fever its not well treated it can also bring about pains at the back of the throat so i continue with the fever treatment and have not felt the pain for like two days now.
