Today I had the same thing, I went to doctor. and he saw my throat and he said he can see some white points in my throat that he sait they are bacterial. and he gave me these pills:
1. Augmentin (kind of Antibiotics, and is like penicillin)
2. Remafen (is for pain)

I'm having reoccurring throat pain when swallowing. Feels like golf ball stuck in my throat. Lasts a day or two then goes away. No noticeable swelling. Any ideas of what would cause this?
