Hi,

I had my septoplasty done yesterday, along with my turbinates, two other nose precedures and also my sphenoid sinus drained out. I know it is only the second day, but I am in sooo much pain.

Last night I made the mistake of sleeping on my side (I forgot that I had to remain elevated) and I had a severe headache all night. When I woke up this morning, I was changing my gauze and got really light headed. Then, all of a sudden, I couldn't see anymore and I fainted shortly after.

Although that hasn't happened again, I have really bad pain in my left ear (it makes crackling noises when I chew or yawn). I'm wondering if there is just some wax trapped in there and if it will get better as I heal.

Also, I do not have a recliner to sleep in. Does anyone have any ideas on how I could sleep at night without getting such a bad headache? The medicine helps for a little bit and then wears off.
